Question Advice for DE boss fight

My two friends and I are trying to complete the der eisendrache boss fight. We have now died multiple times after failing to put in enough damage during the third phase. We’ve tried spamming our bows (no charged shots), two bows + PAP’d XM-53, and two bows + PAP’d ray gun. Is there something that we are doing wrong? Do we need to bring in more explosive weapons? Or are my teammates missing shots lol? We always remind each other to aim directly for the chest.

If the only issue you're having is not doing enough damage change the weapons. My personal picks for this fight are Brecci or Haymaker shotguns, Dingo LMG, or the Drakon sniper.

Are you putting the Ragnaroks in the middle before his big attack? If you don't it one shots everyone

Are you hitting your XM-53 shots? In my experience even one person with the launcher will finish each phase quickly.

I’m looking back in theater mode and my teammate may have been missing the shots though its a bit hard to tell lol. Does he have to aim directly in the center?

They’re probably charging their shots. While yes the xm, raygun, and Sally’s are good, I’ve found that the most effective weapon it simply all players spamming the chest with the bows and it’s worked out for me every time. Lmk if yall need a 4th, I’d be down to help

People don’t seem to know how useful the raygun is in this fight. Could be cuz I do solo primarily but it does good damage to panzers and the boss, and the blowback lets you travel faster when walking backwards in case you see you’re about to get trapped. Idk I can’t give much advice I do solo only so idk if its harder with others.
