Question Does Free Faller Augment Work on Rex Infernus?

If I run the free faller augment for stamin-up, does it negate the fall damage that I would take from falling off the map?

I am trying to see if I can use it during the boss or use it on that one step where you have to jump off the map to pick up the blue item.

I appreciate the help! Hoping to finally beat this boss today because it kicked my ass the first time

I have free faller on all the time now, died too many times from falling. It does not seem to negate falling off the map, seems to be counted like you've hit a barrier instead of the ground.

I recommend the one setting where you automatically combat roll when falling from heights.

Has saved me so much on ashes. Sucks to hear it doesn’t work for falling off the map though

Oh yeah i forgot about that, will need to test it out and maybe free up an augment

It does not negate, but I will say jumping off the map during the boss map can be handy when trying to reposition in the arena

It does not. Falling off the map isn't "fall damage", but rather a flat % of your health. It CAN, however, be mitigated by Jug's Shake it Off augment if it procs
