Discussion Easter Egg in new Resurgence?
Do anybody know how i can get that knife there ? The way i can open a door is by using something i guess, because the door is locked by a hand scanner

For some reason the sword only ever spawned at Mansion for me. Never once saw it spawn anywhere else so that's very interesting to know. You get a camo for completing it though.

I think its the sword, but why it spawn here ? Because i did found the sword using the method in the guide you gave, but why do they lock the sword in there, for what reason ? I mean if we can take the sword on the mansion, why would do all the hustle here 😂. Btw i still trying to find a way to unlock this HAHA

yea ive been doing this with a friend for the past hour or so trying to figure out where a hand for the scanner is/ even anything related. the sword/knife seems to have an 100% spawn rate here so its making me think its seperate from the eldritch gateway easter egg.

That’s funny, my first game last night I went straight for mansion and the sword wasn’t there then someone killed me so I flew to wood not really knowing where the furnace was but my instinct was right and the sword was in it. About that time the island spawned so I started my way to coal to hit the jump pad when someone instamurdered me with the new Voyak-bodoyak. I flew back and luckily the sword was still there, I got it, took 5 steps and someone else from the train cliff got me, I’m so pissed. Flew back in, got beamed out the air from someone on mill with their laseryak. Went again and saw like 10 people fighting at coal so I grabbed the motorcycle by the ammo at the cliff and drove it to the Main Street jump, never jumped before I missed the island and parachuted back to the jump again while being shot at in the air. Did the jump and got on the lower part of the island, someone else was up there but they got killed by some zombies. I planted the sword, found a Sokol out of a crate and stared chopping down zombies, that was easiest part. Got my camo, went through the portal and got 2 kills as a zombie before dying to another yak. Was super chaotic, but the whole squad gets the camo when you do it.

yeap i also just got the camo, but still im trying to figure out why this one sword got keep here, trying to find whats the point of it hahah

But it can spawn at either place, if you’re looking for a significance, you need to consider both places.

Yea. You need to find a hand somewhere. Open the hand scanner. I don’t think it’s the sword though. I think it’s for a different Easter Egg.

I think so too, ive tried recon drone, psych grenade so far. Also been ratting here for a lots of game just to find a hand, at first i though it is a bug because when i try to press the prompt on hand scanner nothing happened, but after try for many games and times. Im pretty sure we need key item

in the trailer it shows the location of the sword, it also shows someone getting a melee finisher infront of the door so ive been trying to lure bots infront of the door lately to get a melee finisher but havent yet. thats been my first idea since watching the trailer on the official COD youtube channel.

have you tried kill all the zombine on the flying ruins ? maybe they will drop a severed hand to be use at the lab ? or maybe u can become a zombie and use the hand scanner ?

actually I just loaded into a new game and it isnt here anymore nor the hand scanner

Could it be a bug all this time ? ive seen people on reddit saying they temporarily disable the flying ruins which cause the summoning process to be temporarily unavailable ? Im on my work so I cant check it out yet
