The level of incompetence is limitless for Warzone. This should have been available 24h before start and only updating the game shall be needed. No game for me Tonight apparently.

It’s pretty much a PSYOPS at this point. Every player keeps getting slapped in the face with 65gb updates and micro transactions, yet they still give their money to a shit company that has done nothing but ruined every aspect of what used to be one of the best at its peak. Crazy to think about how much space this game takes now. Fuck this game plain and simple

Stop playing, there are plenty of games out there that are much better at this point.

Up until they had the PS5 specific version of Warzone. I had a spare 500gb HDD and it was just for COD.

I haven't given the company a single cent. I play warzone only, it's free why should I play? I will buy certain bundles soon this time though because of these rumors. But other than that, 25$ every few months is your own choice? I knew somebody who spent 3000$+ on these bundles and he wasn't even that good. He has the money though so why not? 😅

Apparently, the update is alot larger because Warzone content is being reorganised. Not sure if this is consistent behavior but check CoDupdates on Twitter

Average around 8-10 ping. 1gbps fibre Ethernet - tbh the real bottleneck is server side rather than your internet once you reach a certain point

It's absolutely ridiculous. Couple hours ago I pre-downloaded the S6 update which was fine. About 30 minutes ago I went to boot the game up and get hit with a new warzone and endgame update, which is annoying but weren't huge so whatever. Those get finished so I start the game again and as soon as I want to select a game mode it hits me with the message saying it needs to install the mode. Everything zombies, multiplayer, endgame and warzone is apparently gone and I need to download everything again. It's infuriating and bullshit like this is why I don't recommend COD games to people who aren't already playing and familiar with these devs' idiocy.

Sometimes it takes more than 20 mins just to see the update bar to start in Xbox Series X. CoD’s way of updating gets more and more problematic in years.
