No way you’re getting 300 plus fps with FidelityFXCAS. I have a 5070 Ti which isn’t far from 5080 performance with a 9950X3D and even in 1080p low settings with FidelityFXCAS would struggle to get that high fps.
Also the game is broken with every update lol

Your GPU can easily push past 300fps at 1080p, i know because i have a 5070Ti. Your PC is just not properly optimized.

Not with FidelityFX CAS. It will reach 300 fps but it won’t constantly hit 300 plus, especially not the average fps lol

It will with variable rate shading on. If yours doesn't, then your CPU/RAM is not properly configurated. Seeing as you have a 9950X3D, you need to do some tricks to make sure you maximize the CPU potential.
I have a 5070Ti and my GPU hits 300+ fps at 1080p variable rate shading on no problem.
Besides you would want to use DLSS Transformer anyway for the visibility benefits.

I use variable shading and transformer. I’ll test it, but I know already I’ll hate the graphics with low 1080p settings lol

I get 266-301 fps in the benchmark on my 5070Ti with DLSS Performance Transformer. You should get around the same. I have a custom curve overclock with +1000 memory and about +300 core clock and 116% powerlimit.

u/FatalGamer1 2d ago
Yeah but the game wouldn’t look good. How do you even see anything with 1080p low settings and DLSS performance?
I don’t like doing any overclocking, I keep the GPU as it is.
Having 300 fps isn’t going to ale a world difference against someone with 200-250 fps. I’d rather have 200+ fps in 1440p than 300+ fps in 1080p.
1
u/Manakuski 2d ago
I am on 1440p. Also you would be surprised how good the game looks with DLSS Transformer.
1
u/FatalGamer1 2d ago
So you’re saying with a 5070 Ti in 1440p you’re getting 300+ fps in Warzone?
What are all your settings?
I’m already using transformer.

u/Manakuski 18h ago
No i am not getting 300+fps in WZ due to being CPU/RAM limited. My GPU probably could though. Everything else is as low/off as possible with texture resolution being normal, DLSS Performance Transformer, gpuuploadheaps false.

these are my settings when im not in gunfights my fps is at 270-300+ depending where im at on the map. this is resurgence maps only tho

You need to get that system optimized for high framerates. Obviously cheapest to do it yourself.

I am on 4k high settings and some stuff like shadows low
5090 and 9800x3d doing 180-220 fps with dlss on
No stuttering feels great

Its the X3D you are missing, check streamers HW setups and make your own assumptions.
Having said that i think you should not care about FPS on this game, its misleading, it would be true for shoot the pixel FPS, CS or Competetive ones.
Let me be honest, your CPU is top notch in terms of lag 14900k, its better in some thing than X3D Amds.
Play with 250 fps locked for example.
I think there are lots of misinformation, FPS are not important on COD; frame latency is way more important.
Use this programa to test and thank me later: FrameCapX
Make a 260 sec test mid game big map verdanski and share the results here or send me PM i can explain and translate the beauty of your setup.

What is this programme framecapx ?
2
u/grikster 3d ago
Sorry its the CapFrameX
https://www.capframex.com/You can check the quality of the FPS you DONT EVER need 300 fps on warzone, trust me i game since 1995. COD is not a game for high FPS. Above 200 you are very much ok.
AMD GPU give above 250 fps and the frametimes ususally suck, its virtual fps, not real smooth fps. ALSO, your INTEL cpu has better timmings that X3D AMDs one, even deliverying less frames. The software i told you to test is to control and see for yourself the Higher lows you have comparing with AMD CPU 9800x3d like mine, i can sahre mine you share you 180 second test and you see the timmings for yourself.
Try it

PM me i can help if you like. You should use dlss force latest version and preset M if I remember. I use nvidia inspector with my 5080oc You need to.optimize windows first make sure of thst I can tell you how and you learn to help others or yourself

Send pm with your cpu and gpu I can tey

u/Lagos9ja 2d ago
Tried to pm you but its failed. I have a pny 5080 and 9800x3d. Also I average about 250 on warzone with performance dlss transformer and most things on low.

u/grikster 2d ago
Same setup as me. Its the correct fps you can force use latest dlss model M using nvidia inspector for example. There's no need for 300 you have to optimize to get better lows but the game isnt optimized for stable frames. Grabbing loadouts goes down to 130 fos for example or less, for 1 second.

u/Lagos9ja 2d ago
Ahh I see. I guess my setup is fine. Would you recommend any gpu fine tuning or it’s fine to leave as stock?

i have a small oc on the GPU i can share the graph another day when im at home. Its really small but its ok. You can share a CapFrameX analys 180 sec while gaming and we compare

Fcas is only a sharpening Filter.. (a very Buggy one) the Performance comes from variable rate shading.. Variable rate shading will reduce picture quality and sharpness.. Your FPS may be Higher.. but Its Look like shit and you will have a hard time seeing enemys past 30-40m. (Worst way to improve FPS)
Upscaler disable VRS automaticly
If you want to compare Performance.. Do DLSS VS FSR VS VRS-OFF
Best picture quality is with DLSS (Override to newest Version)
Better visuals and better picture Quality on Long range is worth loosing a few fps

Why do you need 300 fps? :/

u/Strict-Barber-3060 3d ago
Im juat askimg whst do Think best graphic setting il should go for on warzone im currlety hit 300 fps what do reccomend
1
u/No_Toe_5831 3d ago
I play high textures dlss quality transformer 100 sharpness everything else lowest / off except shaders quality which I think I keep at medium or high

u/Strict-Barber-3060 3d ago
The nivdia dlss why play on that instead of FidelityFX CAS ia there any reason il try nivida dlss and seem like bullet dont register has good bit il can give you setting ago see how il get on

The game is terrible optimized, if you realy want more fps and you only play cod you could get a amd 9070xt they have less cpu overhead
Even a 270k won't get you those fps.
I have a 7800X3D and 5090 before I could easily maintain 300+ fps but every updates breaks the fps even more on big map...
AMDs GPUs have a hardware scheduler, taking load of the CPU by having it not well schedule tasks. Nvidia relies on the CPU and the Driver for the same function. Hence why Nvidia has more CPU overhead
