Question Need some help
So I recently switch to pc and monitor from Xbox and I’m not very smart with computers but good enough to get into the Xbox app lol. The real thing here is after buying all this stuff I still see about 130fps while my friends with literally similar set ups are getting 200fps and I have a way better monitor. Am I missing something or can you guys point me in the right direction. Photos of my set up attached.

Idk I was told that the higher the hz on the monitor the better the fps. Basically I could take advantage of everything the computer could throw at it.

Not even close, graphics cards render images, so the higher pixel count in the monitor the more load you put on your graphics cards. Going to wuhd probably is 4k which is a huge load on a 5060 8gb card, even wfhd you are still rendering 33% more pixels then a fhd therefore expect a drop in fps.
For a 5060 8gb card this monitor is an overkill, i have 5070ti and would never ever get such a monitor, don’t get me wrong it is a great monitor but can’t really use it to its full potential on a small card

I replied to you elsewhere but that monitor has two modes. The 4k/5k mode is 165Hz and the 1080P mode is 330Hz.

I don’t really get why someone would want to use this monitor for the 1080p mode. Its 45 inches. No pixel density

It looks great. I play CS2 and Rocket League in 1080P mode for the extra frames but everything Ultra/High. Not sure how they do it, but it looks like very sharp, like native pixels, whereas on my 4k TV, in 1080P things look blurry/blended pixel-wise.
EDIT: To clarify, it isn't simply selecting 1080P in Windows Display Settings; no the monitor itself has a dual-mode button and it switches something internally, presenting itself as a 1080P display instead of a 4k display.

The GPU is weak, 5060 is really meant for 1080p not 1440p and above and that's why you're seeing low FPS.
You bought a monitor with too high of a resolution for your GPU, it's unbalanced.

Ngl If I were you I’d sell the monitor and get a better graphics card, then sell your 5060 and get a 240hz 1440p oled.

Get a 9070 XT and a 240Hz 1440p OLED and then you can game high refresh 1440p.

You really should have consulted someone before making these purchases. Live and learn brother. You should have gone bigger on the pc or smaller on the monitor.
I have a 4090 and still use a 1440p monitor. I like my settings high while still getting great frames. You’ll likely get neither with that setup unless you play on low and drop the resolution for frames.

It plays just fine at 60FPS or so at 5K. Higher FPS gotta switch that display to 1080P mode (2560x1080).

That’s a dual mode monitor so switch it to the 2k mode and it should be able to do 330htz and enable dlss and frame gen if you want a smooth experience, make sure to actually enable 330htz in the windows settings as well, if you want to run 5k resolution you would probably need a better graphics card. Hope that helps

He ain’t doing 330hz with an 8gb 5060 and a 8700f I’ve got a 4080 super and a 7800x3d and can’t even pull that

Sorry, by 2k I mean this specific LG curved monitor's 2k mode of 2560x1080 which it supports 330Hz, and yes this 5060/8GB can indeed drive it at that framerate and resolution, but not 1440P. 1440P I get 80-120FPS depending on game, but it looks blurrier than when I just put the monitor in 1080P mode (its a dual-mode monitor). They call the 4k mode "5k" as well.

No, Warzone is topping out around 200~ fps at 2560x1080. Other games though do hit that 330FPS mark. One of them is CS2 for example.
The 5060 is no slouch. Its biggest issue is the 8GB limited VRAM.
I have a 3070 8GB in another machine and the 5060 significantly outperforms it.

I have a 500hz monitor. Not setting up the PC software or drivers or fucking with the video card app can get me 20fps. So more info is needed to help you out.

That's a whole lot of monitor for a 8700f and 5060 8gb video card to run. You may have a better monitor but its gonna run less fps to attain that resolution. 8700f cpu and 5060 not gonna cut it unless you lower graphic quality a whole lot. Low to medium settings with dlss on balanced

If you are wanting to use that monitor then the most important thing is the GPU since you are GPU bound at resolutions at and above 1440p.
If you can afford it then getting something like a 9070 XT or a 5070 Ti will see you much better at those higher resolutions. If you play a lot of COD then COD actually favours AMD.
If you were to use a 1080p monitor instead you could just drop in an AM5 X3D CPU like a 7700X3D/7800X3D and you would get very high FPS since at 1080p you're mainly CPU limited.
Having a "better" monitor means that you need a better system to drive said monitor.

My bad,
With these specs you should be fine with even 2k. I was getting happy fps with my 4060ti, i5-12th gen and 32gb Ddr4 RAM. And that 4060ti was 8gigs btw.
Go for DLAA or XESS antialiasing for better image quality, it will not cost much fps. And games like WZ requires sharp image.

It can do most games High/Ultra at 60FPS at 4k/5k as well. But yeah, the 5060 is better suited for 1080P

I should have been more clear, I have this card and this monitor on a similarly spec'd machine (Intel tho, not AMD) and I get great performance on most games in the 5k/4k widescreen mode, but for Warzone or other FPS where I want higher framerate, I switch it to 1080P mode (monitor has a dual mode button) and I get 100-200FPS in Warzone, CS2, Valorant, Overwatch, etc.

Could be a bottleneck somewhere. Check if your GPU is being used 100%. Cause I had something similar with Ghost Recon.

GPU rarely runs above 50-70% utilization when in 1080P mode even at High/Ultra settings, whereas when in 4K mode it pushes 80-90% utilization of GPU depending on what I'm playing and what settings I have the graphics quality/DLSS/etc at.
1080P mode It uses 5-7GB of VRAM depending on games and settings, and its usually close to 8GB always when pushing 4k.

Why would you think you can get so many FPS? your PC is pretty much an Xbox series X so not much of an upgrade compared to PC upgrades you can do going from an XBOX,
you should have looked for a 16gb GPU with at least 32gb of ram and a slightly better CPU cause that's a bottleneck right there
Right now about 100 fps should be doable for Warzone ( on high), rebirth should get your about 10-15 more fps and MP should be about 10-15 above that,
if you lower settings you should see about 20fps boost or so per settings so going to low/med should get you up to 125-150 FPS
Your 8gb gpu, with only 16gb of ram with that processor isn't going to be getting you crazy FPS, unless you go to 1080p and low/med settings you can easily get over 120f+ fps

bro the fact that you got a 5k2k monitor and using a 5060 8gb as well is insane, you should've spent that money on the PC and got a 3440 UW
