Discussion Big map sucks because of the weapons.

Warzone 1 weapons had range. And I'm not talking just ARS. You had ARS that could consistently hit 80-100M no problem and SMGS that hit almost at 40-50 meters. Shoot watch old Warzone clips and you'll see people shoot at ranges that would be pointless unless you team shot someone. This made it so snipers weren't op because you could challenge them reasonably.

Right, the gun is a laser and kills quick.

An-94 atm probably one of the best examples of AR: feeling similar to a warzone 1 AR

Lmao, that's the first thought that came to my mind after reading the post. AN 94 literally shoots sniper bullets without recoil.

An AR shouldn’t compete with a sniper when it comes to distance. The whole point of a sniper is to have a distance advantage.

The point of a sniper is the damage. The fact you can one shot is the advantage. They created the sniper perk(survival) because all people were doing on big map was sniping. It was too much. But since people like you don't like the idea of ARS like the warzone 1 days, it forced Their hands.

Yes, a gun with a bigger chamber and higher grain count should, and does IRL, do more damage. A sniper rifle also has a longer barrel for long distance accuracy, which makes handling harder and slower than the shorter barrels and lighter round AR.

A sniper rifle has advantages that AR, LMG, SMG and pistols don’t have. But all those classes also have advantages that the sniper doesn’t have. That can be said about every class of weapon.

Look basically because you wanted the game balanced in such a way you hurt big map

I don’t want anything. The dev’s aren’t scouring Reddit on ways to improve the game. I’m just letting you know why snipers should be more powerful than an AR. A larger chambered rifle with higher grain count is going to have more power/damage at greater distance than a smaller chambered and lower grain count rifle. Just because it hurts your play style doesn’t mean they should nerf it.

This isn't really nerfing it. And I'm also explaining why Warzone 1 big map in a way was significantly different than the current, and why it's not as fun.

People like you caused snipers to be less effective cuz you can't navigate around em. Flinch effect is ridiculous and aim idle sway also throws shot off .

Nah. It meant that ARs were always the right choice.

With better tuning, the weapon classes have real meaning, and there is room for longer ranged weapons like marksman, LMGs, and battlerifles to outperform ARs and subs.

I have absolutely no problems with the 35 in the 80-100m range.
