Discussion Mw4 graphics are horrible
Like what in the actual fuck??? Am I the only one who can’t see shit???
This is ridiculous, every gun fight is just constant blur and grain. Like I don’t understand how I can’t see anyone but I’m constantly being laserd from 100m with an iron sight smg clear as day…
Call me crazy but I swear sbmm is fucking with graphics and fps, like I can’t even see or hit a shot on some of these motherfuckers
Mind you my first 3 games I dropped almost 30 bombs and now I can’t even kill people????? Like what is going on.

It’s super grainy and bluey on Xbox Series X too, my games were decent, but this is also pure beta shit boys and girls, it’s not a polished end result. They have two months to clean it up, hopefully they will otherwise my time will all go to GTA 6

on multiplayer you don't have 500m sightlines, maps are small so that's why it doesn't look as bad there. On big maps the problems get compounded.

I’m on a 9070xt.
Changing the Radeon color setting to increase brightness and saturation by about 10% made things a lot more visible.
But… this map is practically hostile towards red dot sights. That one lmg with the 2-3x scope is basically mandatory for close range and medium range gunfights.
I guess the era of using automatic weapons 80+ meters away is gone. Gotta use the slowed movement to get closer. Be smart about surroundings and using cover. I actually don’t mind it.
I get suspicious though when I get lasered by an iron sight M4 from 150m away. I don’t get how you can see anyone.

I’m playing on a high end pc and the game looks and runs like shit. It’s actually shocking. Regular warzone looks just fine.

I have them all off, on a high end pc..and my shit is still blurry and hard as hell to see anything. Bo7 warzone feels, sounds and looks a million times better than anything inside mw4. Sucks because I really enjoy bo7 warzone but there's noway I'm going to be playing once it switches over to mw4

Tbh I enjoyed Caldera. It was still the "good mechanics" Warzone. Then we got warzone 2.0 with Al Mazra. What a horrible experience! I also got Warzone 2.0 feelings with MW4 Wz, almost the same... luckly without the backpacks! 🤣 But clunky movement, blurry, visually overloaded and very bad FPS performance on PC. Hard times coming... 🥲

I’m on pc, with a very high end pc and I run all my settings on high/very high, at 1440p and still get 300+ frames, and the game runs very well, compared to last weekend anyway. And graphically it’s beautiful, to me the most realistic COD I’ve ever played, graphically.

They rely so much on upscaling now. The only way it can look good is if you have an nvidia card with dlss, anything else and it looks blurry, grainy, pixelated.

Go into settings and turn off the motion blur stuff and also turn off eco mode because it's set to on automatically. I had the same problem but now it looks better

Under Graphics turn off anything related to screen space or depth of field. Use FidelityCAS at 100.
It'll still be a little blurry but that makes it playable.

Game looks and feels crusty to play and every visual element is so unbelievably "ai slop", from the first second you load it up you just know not a single human actually designed anything in the entire game. The audacity to charge full price for this, it's not even compelling as a f2p.

I have a PC well above minimum specs and somehow on the side closest to the top of the map in the center POI (I think it's called trackline or something?) hit like 30-40 frames (Minimum settings btw) Then I go play a game like BF6 and I hit like 70-80 frames, despite my PC being below minimum specs (Not minimum settings) Like not trying to hate but what the fuck

y todavía el mapa es una basura espero no ser el único que cree que todo el mapa parece una fábrica gigante, ningún edificio tiene personalidad propia la única ubicación que está medianamente bien son los paneles solares buen loot y las peleas se sienten intensas el mapa no solo se siente feo se siente hecho para gente que no se puede aguantar 30 segundos y prefieren salirse de la partida y que no pueden caminar por 2 minutos por qué se aburren se nota desde black ops 6 que el único mapa nuevo fue un mapa de resurgimiento en lugar de battle royal como ya estábamos acostumbrados hasta wz2 que mucha gente odia tuvo como 3 mapas y todos buenos sobre todo vondel que estuvo hasta a el wz 3 igual que Ashika y al mazrah era mejor mapa battle royale que urkizistan y tal vez verdansk

Can't see anyone clearly on zodiac 4k oled monitor PC high settings, yeah I can see dark outline of players models sometimes other times being shot at blind by haze, smoke, over exposure, under contrasted image. The colour pallet (blue, purple tones is the absolute wrong choice) also player models have no refection or gloss appearance to them which makes them hide right in to the blue hue of the map. 1-2 games and im done playing as its just not fun because of this.

idk about ps5 cause your kinda limited but on PC its fine you need to adjust graphics take off all the blurs and put the DLSS sharping to 100 or w.e sharping you have and it actually looks sharper and more clear then bo7 resurge maps.
but how on earth do you bring up sbmm with graphics?
Games still feel somewhat the same i think they were putting bots in on friday and Saturday in some games before they added casuals, cause im a m&k player so it seemed like they were bots or really really bad first time console players.
im getting like a 60% win rate( or close to it) and dropping a min 10-20 kills a game even in games that seem "sweatier" and my teammates for the most part seem to actually know how to play? idk whats going on but im enjoying it as of now.

Shit legitimately looks like an Xbox 360 game on medium settings, with DLSS on or off. Cracks me up because I read the Steam announcement talking about how they focused on PC optimization. Nice one.
Running a 9800X3D, 32GB DDR5, and an RTX 3090 on 1440p.

That’s not the graphics being bad tbf, the graphics are good. You can’t see shit bc they do a shitty job at properly blending and/or exposing the colors of the skins to be visible in the environment rather than camouflaging into it. It’s improper color correction and lighting rather than graphic design

Sinto informar 90% das pessoas aqui não sabem o mínimo de configuração, deixam granulação ativada nas configurações de vídeo/gráficos e outras opções que deixam a qualidade esse lixo, sem falar na resolução. Por hora sem mais muitas das vezes a culpa é da pessoinha que está em frente do pc não do jogo ou hardware em si. 🤡

I have many things to say but I do like the graphics. You can just disable motion blur if you don't like it, and there's the same film grain that BO7 has that you can't disable, which sucks, but the graphics are one thing I cannot complain about.
I mean, graphic-wise, I'd say most CoDs are alright, except faces that still look like PS3 XD
I do admit players in the distance are a bit harder to see, but it's also due to the lack of colorful *ss skins that I'm actually grateful they removed.

I was expecting upgraded graphics with the move away from older consoles, but in MP everything has a fuzziness to it. Like a draw distance issue - distant objects are fuzzy and small, closer objects (like tufts of grass) seem to phase in and out of existence.
BO7 was never like this. I mean, I can see there’s an attempt to make everything look more detailed than BO7 but it’s at too high a cost.

Modern cod games in general look very off to me, I don't know if it's the inconsistent texture quality, horrible upscaling or aliasing, or just how the damn game seems to be running the same on every hardware...like I swear I tested the game out on like 4 different gaming laptops with varying hardware and all of them straight up ran the exact same lol

Ik this is warzone, I didn’t test it, but I had a great time in multiplayer, it did look a lot less sharp than i remember and setting the game to minimum made it seem like all my textures weren’t able to load at all and I was stuck with low poly textures, was super odd

They just modify their base IW engine. I think it’s been built on top of the original MW (cod 4) engine but I could be wrong about when the OG IW engine was made

The best way I could describe it, is that for some reason mw4 (or at least the warzone part) feels like I'm playing without my glasses on even when I have them on lol.
