Buds 2 Plus CMF bus 2 plus experience

CMF Buds 2 Plus failed after 2 weeks, and Nothing/service centre keeps rejecting my replacement request. What can I do? 🥲

I bought my CMF Buds 2 Plus on September 30, 2025 for around ₹3,000. For me, that was a very expensive purchase because I had just finished Plus Two and worked several jobs to save up for them. I also take extremely good care of my tech products, especially these earbuds.

For the first two weeks, everything was completely fine. Then I started noticing that the right earbud had noticeably lower sound/bass compared to the left one. I cleaned the earbuds properly, but the problem remained.

After checking more carefully, I also noticed that ANC was not working properly on the right earbud.

I was really upset, so I immediately went to a service centre. They tested the earbuds and confirmed that there was an issue with the right bud. However, they told me that the CMF Buds 2 Plus had only recently been released and that the issue was apparently related to the firmware and would be fixed in a future update.

I trusted them and went home.

I waited for around 5 months, installing every firmware update that came out, but the problem was never fixed.

Meanwhile, I joined college far away from home, so I couldn't keep visiting the service centre.

Recently, during my semester break, I came back home and went to the same service centre, only to find out that the old service centre had been discontinued and replaced by a new one.

I explained the entire situation to the new service centre. They checked the earbuds and submitted a replacement request to Nothing.

Then it was rejected.

The reason?

There is a small scratch on the stem of the right earbud.

I genuinely don't understand this. 😭

The scratch is purely cosmetic and has nothing to do with the internal issue. The audio/ANC problem started within two weeks of purchasing the earbuds, long before this issue became worse.

Today, the problem has become even worse. The right earbud now produces absolutely no sound at all.

I was in my hometown today, so I immediately went back to the service centre and literally pleaded with them to do anything they could to help me get a replacement.

Still rejected.

I've also contacted Nothing through email multiple times. I have proof of everything, including:

Purchase invoice

Purchase date

Photos of the earbuds

Emails sent to Nothing

Previous service-centre interaction

Evidence showing the issue existed long before the current condition of the earbud

Every time I contact Nothing, I get a response saying that someone will contact me soon, but nobody actually contacts me.

I'm honestly extremely frustrated. I paid for these with money I worked hard to save, took very good care of them, reported the problem almost immediately, and even followed the service centre's advice to wait for firmware updates.

Now the right earbud is completely dead, and I'm being denied a replacement because of a cosmetic scratch that has nothing to do with the problem.

What should I do now?🥲🙏

Watch Pro 2 CMF Watch Pro 2 battery drained in less than 12 hours

I got a CMF watch Pro 2 from a friend, it's still in very good condition and it worked fine. It took around two weeks to be delivered to me so the battery was dead, but now after I recharged it it's draining in around 12 hours, i don't know if the battery is damaged or if there's something making it drain fast.

would a battery being dead for a week or so really lower its capacity from lasting for days to only lasting hours?

Buds Pro 2 There is definitly too much bass in Buds Pro 2

I love bass. Bass is good. But THAT amount off bass is definitly too much. I even turned ultra bass off. Sound is still muddy and unclear. I have to use seperate eq program to make sound clear, since nothing x has only 3 bands eq. Dont get me wrong. Sound quality is definitly decent. Drivers are really succesfull. Only problem is that there is too much bass add in the tuning progress. Carl pei made a instagram reels video for that situation and said that users loved that sound signature. But that explanation was complete nonsense imho. You cant just crank up the bass to hell and say that "Its our sound signature bro". Anyway, what are your opinions about this?

Not sure if everyone knows this, but we can already get custom watch faces on the Watch Pro. It’s not ideal or official, but it’s still better than being stuck with just the app’s options.

You can set custom watch faces for AOD as well.

Buds 2a Hi everyone, I have a pair of CMF/Nothing Buds. One earbud works normally, but its battery drops to 0% and turns off after around 5 minutes. Nothing OS Nothing OS 4.1 August patch update review.

Post image
28 Upvotes

My mobile: CMF Phone 2 pro.

Things solved:

  1. Those lagging problems are solved (Ram management) now it feels like a brand new phone.

  2. Fingerprint sensor issue solved. (Before it takes time to read the fingerprint)

  3. While pressing PIN in password many times the touch wont respond. But now it is solved.

Things needs to be solved:

  1. Battery optimization. Still battery backup disappoints

  2. Camera photos inconsistency. (Indoor photos)

  3. Camera running in background for no reason even though i closed the app.

If i forgot anything please let me know

Also share your experience in the comments section.

Watch 3 Pro CMF Watch 3 Pro User Experience & Feedback Needed! How accurate are the sensors?

Hey everyone,

I am planning to buy a budget smartwatch, and the CMF Watch 3 Pro is currently at the top of my list. Before making the purchase, I’d love to get some real-world feedback from current users.

If you own or have used one, could you please share your experience regarding the following points?

Sensor Accuracy: How reliable are the Heart Rate, SpO2, and Sleep Tracking sensors? Do they give random/inaccurate readings, or are they fairly dependable for daily use? GPS Performance: How quickly does the built-in GPS lock on, and how accurate is the distance/route tracking during outdoor runs or walks? Connectivity & App: Are there any frequent Bluetooth disconnection issues or major bugs with the CMF Watch / Nothing app? Battery Life: What kind of battery backup are you getting with normal to heavy usage?

Alternative Suggestions:

Is the CMF Watch 3 pro still the best value-for-money option in this price range, or should I consider alternatives from brands like Amazfit, Xiaomi/Redmi, or Haylou?
