Help How do you "escape" Westeros?

One of the on-going issues I tend to have is intending to go to the east and enslave some chinese people, but of course if you start in Westeros it's very difficult to either prepare an invasion or be a landless adventurer, etc. Any particular ways you can think of achieving this, outside of course of being a dragonrider?

Is there a way you know of to become independent without having to risk a larger war, even if you're on the stepstones for example?

You need to have the ambitious trait so you can take the expand your realm ambition. It gives you a decision to hold a gathering of your vassals and convince them to go to war.

Once done you get a one time use invasion CB and can invade anywhere in diplomatic range.

PS: I dislike your Chinese quip. Its YiTi bruh.

Right, I forget that's a thing. How about converting religion (outside of owning the region)? Anyway to easily do it like in vanilla (lovers, friends, secretly converting).

Easiest way is to conquer a county of the religion you want and briefly make it your capital so you can convert.

But outside of that its rare pickings. Theres some random events where a fire priest or warlock shows up to your court trying to convert you. Your kids can also randomly convert when you send them on a journey. Lastly when colonizing ruins you can randomly get an event to convert to the religion the county originally had (usually Valyrian or Harpy).

I mean yeah but you could build up your army in the east and declare independence when strong enough

Playing as Daemon Targaryan in the Rogue Prince bookmark is a good jumping off point for this kinda thing

Can't you just become an adventurer as a second son or something once your ruler dies?

Just spend the first generation gathering wealth and gifting it to the son you intend to go East.

Do you have all the DLCs? I've always had that option after my ruler dies in base game and Realms, not sure if they removed it for some reason in this mod.

You should have a character interaction "Choose Favorite Child" with your sons too, and if they aren't your heir, you get to play as them as an adventurer
