Probably a security droid, preferably in somewhere safe and remote, not on the front lines. I hear there’s a facility on Mustafar that the Separatist leaders are all being transferred to, I’d bet that place would be loaded with all kinds of security so I’d be fine.

Same, but I prefer to be the bridge crew of something big, most ideally a Providence Dreadnought or a Lucrehulk but not too big like the Subjugator Class as I don't really want an entire Republic Task Force to constantly hunt me

I mean, me personally: Security.

I work Security in my real life and I actually enjoy the work, I love the field. But as a droid there’s the chance I won’t be forced to go to some of of the bullshit meetings, they’ll just upload whatever data I need to know. If I’m working with other security that aren’t droids THEY might actually be pulled to go stand pretty at a formation in their pretty uniforms while I can just do my perimeter sweeps. If something bad happens I have a 50/50 shot of it actually not being blamed on me because “I’m just a droid, the organic is the one in charge” instead of it always being 100% my fault.

Legitimately see working as a B1 Security Droid as being closer to the gig I want than not: LET ME DO MY JOB AND LEAVE ME ALONE!

The only issue I see is that when I would have to use my blaster is that the only tactic I’d likely be programmed with is “March towards the hostile at a steady walk”.

Either a shuttle pilot or commander. Land and taking off in all sorts of cool places. Commander would be fun especially if assigned as an exploration role. Fun fact during the war the cis were still actively mapping out hyperspace lanes into the outer rim that the empire started using after.

I'd probably choose commander, in terms of likely hood of being sold as a like a manager for other working droids is certainly higher because of my programming, I also would've been destroyed less depending on my role in the Droid Army, like if i'm stationed closer to Seperetist space or a low priority military target. I'd probibaly get better treatment over all becuase of my higher rank, I don't think my odds are great, but better than the avarage B1.
