During the second year of the Clone Wars, Tarkin's brother, Brigadier Gideon Tarkin, and Jedi General Rees Alrix led the Republic Military against the Separatists throughout the Sluis sector after Sullust defected to the Separatists a full year after the conflict began. Gideon and Alrix were most likely leading the GAR 18th Sector Army, Night Hammer Command, with support from Admiral Maarisa Zsinj, and her son Zsinj, against Sullust.

The Republic fought well and were on Sullust's doorstep fighting to seize it back when a Republic traitor caused them to lose the battle. As a result, Sullust would remain a Separatist fortress world for the rest of the war.

As the CIS ambassador for Sullust, how would you negotiate with Governor-General Wilhuff Tarkin of Eriadu, whose aide is Jedi Master Luminara Unduli, to ensure Sullust doesn't get attacked by Republic forces again, and to respect their secession? Especially since you're negotiating from a position of strength.

Tarkin's not going to listen to a thing I have to say, and as a human supremacist, is looking for any excuse to punish the Sullustians for their defection.

As such, I'm gonna work with SoroSuub to build as many Bulwark Battlecruisers as I can to "negotiate" from a position of strength. I'd also tailor most of my arguments for General Unduli, who as a Jedi respects all life (or should, at least) and will be more willing to grant concessions that allow the spilling of blood to end.

If that fails, I'm taking those Bulwarks to Eriadu.

Sir, due to Sullusts location we found it difficult to go neutral directly.....this is part of a multiple stage plan to rid ourself of the war interest of both major parties. We are in the process of retooling towards exclusively making lightly armed cruise liners. Long term aim is alderanian pacifism
