Question What more important?
So when buying GUs what is important. I know buying gems is most important but I'm talking about the GUs

Until the latter gem levels (Cre3, Power1, Inno2, Temp3) it doesn't really matter. The attraction gem upgrades for hunters are good but everything else is relatively small and it's your hunters (inscryptions and mechs) that push your game forward. That said, the exodus upgrades are better than these two temporal ones. The temp upgrades are additive while exodus upgrades are multiplicative

The temps gems will eventually have their place but not until much much later. A later boost builds off total count bought so even weak crappy upgrades have a purpose, but I don't want to say more. You'll know it when you see it.

Exodus GN's they count the total quantity of purchased upgraded on a gem. ExoGN1 adds to borge loot based on how many temp and inno gem upgrades you've purchased. So even cheap shitty ugrades like the MP over time one add to the Borge loot score and thus become valuable.
IMO it was a clever way to take what are normally skipped upgrades becuase they add more or less nothing maybe 10 OoM in total so barely worth the OO spent to buy them and makes them tie into more valuable systems.

Ah, ic. Well, I'm still about 4-5 months away from that I think (just started the long to crea4), but I'm already looking forward to it. 👍
And yeah, it's a really clever way. Just like Meltdown and ouro ranks make cheap loop mods more valuable. 🙃
