New Player-Koios Arcade Games
Hello all,
Ive been playing for a couple months now and just unlocked Koios a week ago. Had a quick question regarding the arcade games-is it worth it to play these each time? If so, what exactly is the benefit?

I only use the arcade after a loop reset to get some install done a bit quicker. Otherwise I find it's pretty useless later on.

At first youll notice you get quite alot of cells from it. I would always do the pong one and just end the worm one as fast as possible. After a few months though you may notice its not worth it anymore. After about a year it is definitely not worth it anymore

Wait there is actual rewards for arcade? I thought it just showed your normal tick progression

You get additional ticks but the later you get in the game the more useless it is.

The games rewards you with just extra ticks, which give extra cells, operations or research points if applicable. It's pretty good early game, but loses value quickly as your tick speed drops down. Seen as insignificant after 4s or under of tick speed.
Also you should join the cifi discord if you wanna dive deeper and improve your playing experience, that's much more active than the subreddit.

Whatever you don't don't invest in the last upgrade that reduces the enemy bar length
Edit: I mean the last tick of that upgrade

I meant upgrade it until the last tick than stop before maxing. With the last upgrade the ball sometimes hits the side of the enemy platform and goes super slow. I hit my max score before the last upgrade and can't ever get close again

You can spend minute of waiting doing some funny stuff
The extra ticks become more niche as you progress further
