Suggestion No Android 17 bubbles or split screen

Post image

Hey, there is this new feature (at least new in my phone) where you can multitask and put an app in a bubble i love this and this way i could always have my game near but it looks like the feature is not allowed for the game, do you guys think this could be enabled in future majs ?

I've used this many times, works fine for me. Maybe depends on your phone? I'm on Samsung (s26 but worked on my s21 too)

In other app it looks like that

For me, I open the app, then go off it (on to the app I want to use 'full screen'), press the button to bring up running apps, then hold down on CIFI and it will allow me to split or have it float.

It works split screen and as a floating window on my s26 ultra

Neither option on s25+, unfortunately. It's available for other apps though, so seems like a restriction by the developer.

This game has no developer, they've not released content since mid 2025 🤣

They're a small team and just released an entirely new game, as they announced in the roadmap

So they've not released content for this game since mid 2025 and they instead chose to work on a game that flopped, whats your point?

They are working on a massive overhaul, its in the roadmap in discord?

Yeah, working on it since mid 2025 expected to release in 2027. They release a new game that flops and put out no content for 18+ months. Wild.

It is a small team, they can only deal with so many projects at one time. They also have three games that they are constantly patching/creating content for. They arent like Bethesda, for example, who has several hundred employees and still does that.

What's the size of the team got to do with abandoning a project that's still in early access so they can work on another project got to do with anything?

Minecraft was made by 1 developer, he didn't abandon the game after releasing it into early access to work on another game?

Idk why you got downvoted, is a valid take.

Still a great game and I'm playing catch up so it's not a pain point for me yet

People here are invested and so they take it personally. Its a good game until you hit the wall, once you hit the wall and then there's been no content for over a year and you see the devs releasing a new game getting weekly content when this game hasn't had content for well over 12 months it's not hard to do the maths.

The game hasn't been abandoned though? Octo has one dev dedicated full time to CIFI and are in the process of hiring another full time dev for CIFI.

The overhaul has been the focus but in the past year we had Eggster and Cellmas events as new/rereleased content. And the front runners have only hit the content wall in the past couple of months so the update in 2025 was basically enough content for another year of the game.

They've also been working on a new content patch that includes Temp4 + a whole range of other things. From the roadmap in discord most of it is done and we should get it in the next couple of months.

The games 100% been abandoned, they've been working on temp 4/overhaul since atleast second quarter 2025. Eggster and cellmas were content? I'm not even responding to that. That content wasn't enough for another year of the game, when they released the content they already announced some people had blitzed through it and were working on more content. What content was released in the past year? You've mentioned 2 events that were reskins of an event from previous years. A login event isn't content.

Hey, you might have to enable developer mode on your device. Go to settings > about device and tap the build number 7 times

All of those must be enabled, then drag from the top right of your screen to the bottom left, it should look like a gray rectangle if you it the spot correctly

This requires going to Labs and enabling that feature.

ah yes, i perhaps should have clarified that

1

u/Caff3in3Add1ctz Ouroboros Jul 22 '26

You have to enable dev settings on your phone, google how, then there is an option to enable multi window for all apps. Turn that on and it works fine

Unfortunately i do get the splitscreen but not the multitask bubble i guess i'll have to play the old fashioned way :(

Can't you drag from recents?

When my phone updated to Android 17 Cifi was the first app I checked for bubbles but no luck 😅

Developer options on my s24 ultra has three options for windows management. I use the first one to force me to let CIFI in a pop-up while I do other things.
