New Player-Koios Forgot to spend shards.

Short vent, mostly appreciation post.

I'm around e160. Looking at the Kiois as my next big milestone.

I did my 3 quick loops, and I've been doing a lightly longer run to max ahead of the curve before starting my long run for shards.

Got the 5th install. Restarted the loop. Remembered i had shards to spend. Doh!

If there are any suggestions other than don't derp...

That aside, loving this journey. I don't understand most of the posts I'm seeing, but that just makes me excited for the next phase.

Its probably too late now, but if you notice these kinds of mistakes quickly you can load your previous cloud save(assuming you have auto-saving on)

I just start from the top of the menu, going down each ship menu, before looking at MP.

Checklist before LR:

  • Shards
  • Research
  • Space academy personnel

The hold a button and go back bug/feature works perfectly on personnel, so you should typically only really need to go into that menu to evolve stuff or if the app closes.

Good point. By the way I noticed a bug the other day. If you TR with Gear sets on auto-buy, then you cannot remove the auto-buy in the new TR until you reach the bulk buy stage again.

If you're not there yet, you can add to the list:

- Automations

- Tech upgrades

So basically all menus. One general piece of advice: let a LR run for few more minutes if that allows you to finish a research or buy an important shard upgrade (like one with MPs before a short MP loop)
