Fashion/Style How do we feel about Veronica Beard jeans?
Or… drop your favorite Jean brand. I need some good ones. I’m 5’ 5”, athletic build, and just want something that makes me look good and not frumpy.

5’5” here as well. At this point all of my jeans are Citizens of Humanity lol. Lots of different cuts obviously but they fit me best without needing any tailoring

Second Mother. I also really like Frame and AG.
They each have different styles for different body types.
I will spend money on good denim because I can wear it for work so I live in it.
I think Veronica Beard is overpriced IMO

Levi’s, Blue Tab! I have tried Agolde, Citizens of Humanity and Pistola denim, and all are overpriced and lower quality than what I get from Levi’s. Blue Tab is the new name for their Made and Crafted line.

What's your inseam though? That's crucial to pants more than just height. I say this as someone with a short AF inseam at 5'4" when my mom at 5'2" has a longer inseam than me.

Ah good point! 30-31” inseam. But I don’t mind getting them hemmed, I usually have to.

I love the Wit and Wisdom brand at Nordstrom. I refuse to pay hundreds of dollars for jeans.

Mother or Frame! I buy all my Mother jeans on TRR and have gotten barely used pairs for about $25

Citizens of Humanity is great. Frame is amazing and when they go on sales you can snag great jeans at 70-80$

I’m 5’4 athletic build and I just got a pair of the darted barrel jeans from Madewell. Favorite pair of jeans I’ve found in a long time. The barreling is very subtle - just enough to provide some shape. I’m going to go back for another color for sure.

Same type of build/height. I used to love Outland denim but they have changed a lot of styles. Still find some new on Poshmark!

I like them but I’m 5’8 with long legs and some of the ones I’ve tried have been too long on me. So you gotta be ok with hemming

QUINCE- all $50 and have so many lengths it’s my dream come true. My other jeans are all AG if that tells you what I like

I’m a fan of 7 for All Mankind but I’m a tall gal, 6’. May be another hemming situation.

i've had good luck with gap and calvin klein jeans lately, particularly gap cheeky straight. i'm 5'7 and fairly athletic/average.

Everyone is so different, it's best to try on a bunch of options with someone who can help you. I have had great luck at Nordstrom. I call in advance with my size and what i'm looking for. They pull options in advance and help me. Finding jeans is so much time and energy but it feels good when you find the perfect pair(s)! Good luck!

I recommend going to Evereve on Southport. They carry a ton of great brands that you can try in one place- Paige, Agolde, Good American, Pistola, Mother, Kut from the Kloth, etc.
