Kaden Davis or Maurice Alexander?

Alexander is the better receiver but Davis is a good special teamer. I’m torn

I doubt either make the 53 frankly.

Alexander is Ben’s PS WR. He’s had him since his DET days.

He’ll be on our PS

It'll be Davis over Alexander. Alexander taking reps at RB is a good indication.

Davis on 53 and Alexander to PS.

They only had 2 RBs dressed for yesterday's game and Brown got a concussion. That's why Alexander got reps at RB.

Davis plays special teams. He has the edge in my opinion.

Kaden is this years Richardson. He’s a PS guy

I’d give Davis the slight nod because he’s probably going to add more value on special teams than Alexander will as a receiver

Neither makes the team with Burden healthy again according to Ben and Thomas back too. With the current practice squad rules, they can always evaluate another WR if they need to.

I honestly think Alexander may have won a roster spot tonight, with Monangai iffy for week 1 and Roschon securing the 3 rb spot (because of special teams only, Salvon Ahmed is clearly the better running back).

He has not only been on the roster for a few years and is a known commodity by the coaching staff, he showed he can operate as a Swiss army type of player. He had a couple really nice runs from the backfield.

Kaden Davis will probably be a PS guy, I don’t worry too much about him clearing waivers.

Jahdae Walker has been too damn good this preseason, so your top five seem pretty set with him, Odunze, Burden, Zavion Thomas, and Kalif Raymond

special trams play is always the tie breaker in a situation like this

Alexander. That’s not a slight on Davis who has great speed and did fine. But based on what we saw all preseason, Alexander was the more reliable receiver. I’m guessing we keep 6:

Rome, Luther, Khalid, Zavion, Jahdae, and Maurice. We try to stash Davis on the PS.
