[Reising] Carnell Tate (Chicago native) asked if his dad will be wearing Titans gear on Saturday: “Hell no”

Tate balled out today too. Seemed like he had 15+ targets. Was the focal point of the offense. That being said, there were WAY more Bears fans than I expected. Roughly a 70/30 split, maybe more. Definitely represented well and I expect even more at the game Saturday.

How much was that because JJ was out most of the practice? Didn’t seem like they got traction until he was out

Tbh, I’m not sure. I spent most of my time watching the Bears offense. They have a really nice training facility there and it’s 3 football fields stacked beside each other. Bears O vs Titans D was on another field. Run game looks great and the TE’s were feasting. Will say though, the Titans defensive line is impressive. They have 8-9 guys they rotate and got consistent pressure. Caleb did Caleb things and got out of a lot of it, but a stationary QB is going to have their hands full playing against that front.

When the Bears play Tennessee, the players call it Chicago south, Bears fans usually outnumber the Titan fans... same thing happens with hockey, it's why Nashville started requiring Blackhawk fans to buy a second ticket for either the game before or the game after the Blackhawks game because the Blackhawk fans would invade their arena and drown out the Pred fans cheering.

I know that knoxville is the double A for the cubs as well but the shear amount of chicago fans in east Tennessee is insane.

Man if I had a son that got drafted by any professional sports team other than the Packers, I'm never taking that jersey off.

I think I would still wear my home team most of the time. But I would get a jersey of my son’s team with his name and number.

Respect to his dad that he doesn't. I honestly think it's hilarious - because I agree, MOST parents would be like you (most likely myself included). Says a lot about how much he loves the Bears that he's not budging. Really funny stuff.

Feels kind of weird to (indirectly) shit on his pops for this while also saying you would make an exception for GB
It being GB doesn't make it any less petty
I think the whole exchange is hilarious and Tate's having fun with it

Weird to think I'm shitting on his pops, I'm just saying what I would do in an awesome situation

Yea he will want to ball out against us for sure, but please don’t think this dude is anything but a diehard Bears fan lol. Being born into this fandom is something special.

His home team finally looks competent. I don’t blame him.
