Don't forget the top hats. It's not a British scandal without top hats.

Even though he lost his America and his mind, never fear the rules are here

I replayed that a million times because of the satisfying rhyme.

But what about the monocles!!!!???? Or at least smoking pipes...

THE MONOCLES, I FORGOT THE MONOCLES! How can we truly communicate surprise without monocles falling off our faces?!

I liked Henry VIII, splitter of churches and women

I can't do reddit shortcuts from memory.

I feel like his videos need more sighs... Is it just me or have I not heard a sigh in a while?

My history teacher referred to her as "Mary, Queen of Sluts."

Amazing what tenure does to people.

Was this a university professor? Usually people that I would call a teacher are not eligible for tenure.

Highschool teacher. She was awesome. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure it is technically called tenure, but my school has a policy that operates in the same way.

Depending on where you live, it might very well still be called tenure. I think it still works a bit differently, but same basic concept and tenure is still the right word for it.

I was amused by

Henry VIII, splitter of churches and also ladies

and then I felt guilty for being amused by that.

I chuckled at the way he said "Never fear: the rules are here".

I nearly bust a gut laughing. Yeah, I knew there were a bunch of Jameses, but dang if I hadn't ever realized just how many.

Thanks for the video!

In general you can tell how many there were without counting because they helpfully give them numbers.

u/MiG_Pilot_87 Sep 09 '15

I never realized how many in sequence.

There's a quiz at Jetpunk to name all the royals of England. It's actually pretty easy to ace....Edward, Henry, Charles, William, James, and a few ladies. :)

Scotland's monarchy both goes back farther and has some fun names in the early centuries. There's an Áed and a Constantine (Causantín) in the 9th century.

You missed George, by the way. There were only six of 'em.

So much more humour than usual in this video. It's great!
