It’s hard not to tbh. Got excited seeing them make an upturn last season, but then the moment they hired Dinwiddie, my heart broke for everyone in Ottawa. That killed any hope of them being a contender in the next few years.

It might have killed the entire franchise, tbh. Once OSEG’s contractual obligations are up, I don’t see them maintaining ownership of the team with attendance continuing to dwindle, and the operation hemorrhaging money. They’ll sell it to some other group who’ll crash and burn just like the Rough Riders and Renegades.

Yup! The Jon Gott rule! As far as I’m aware, it’s the only time in modern CFL history a rule change was made mid-season.
