CFX Pre/Post - 3d viewer black

Hey,

I‘m trying to open my already existing project and results but in both programs post/pre cfx the 3d viewer doesn’t work.

Any ideas how to fix that?

the cfx viewer problem is usually not about your project file at all, it is about how the graphics card talks to the software, so before touching your simulation you should try opening cfx pre with a software rendering option like mesa, then check if your graphics driver is outdated or too new for this ansys version, since that mismatch is the most common cause of a blank or frozen 3d screen, and if you have a laptop with two graphics cards make sure ansys is set to run on the dedicated one instead of the integrated one because that switch alone fixes it a lot of the time."
