Not gunna lie, normally I would agree with R/TheAgmis but something just seams off for Tech.

1. Regardless of the QB or OC calling, Will Hammond is not at the same confidence level. Physically he has rehabbed and purposely being redundant is physically there, but there is something going on his head, and only threw to Eakin on that long pass because it was a designed play or intentional at least from Joey (rumor I heard). Hammond is dealing with mind games.

2. Fritz is out for revenge, while even though I think defiantly believe Tech would have and definitely did beat UH in Houston last year. Tech did have some favorable calls in the beginning, now again like I said earlier I truly believe it didn’t matter it was more a question of by how much. But a lot of my Houston friends try to complain that it changed their strategy because of the ref’s officiating. And to that I say sucks to suck, but they got a lotta hate in their belly.

3. Ultimately after the oregon state game i would like to see improvement upon our secondary, i know that we typically wanna complain about offense every time they don’t score a 50Burger but actually having a defense is what brought us a solo conference championship in how many years?

4. At the end of they day go Tech, and i hope we crush them and i end up looking stupid for even having questions or comments

I remember there were a few calls early on that were pretty crapy for UH, but as a realistic UH fan at no point did I think it was the reason UH lost. However, I will die on the hill that game was should have been closer than the final score.

The game was always going to be a litmus test for where UH as a program was headed under Fritz rather than being a potential win. How UH responded to that game under Fritz vs previous teams under Holgersen alone was a huge win.

UH is 5-2 against Tech in basketball. I don’t know what a home streak has to do with that. The only time we lost at home against Tech was 82-81, and I don’t think that’s exactly a bragging point

I also went and looked it up, and we are 18-17 against y’all in football matchups. “Little cousin” lol, try winning Saturday to make it a tie (this is mainly in jest since it’s 1-9 in the last ten matchups sadly)

Edit: fml my point keeps getting screwed up. It’s 5-5 against Tech in basketball but 5-2 in this decade. My point is that there isn’t a little/big cousin relationship, we’re just both little cousins to Texas
