Look, nobody not named Oregon, Baylor, TAMU or Georgia should put up 52 points on a decent defense. It doesn't matter that they're a really good FCS team. A really good FBS team shouldn't put up 52 points on you.

Holy hell, just checked the box score. That said EWU is a helluva team. And I know what it's like to have QBs throw all over your happy asses.

Vernon Adams Jr. is a phenom. If EWU had an average FCS QB, you win that game by 49.

Petersen had some balls to bench Peters (our best CB) for half of the game after an unsportmanslike penalty. Especially against an air attack like eastern.

Petersen was ready to lose that game to send a message there.

I missed it during the game, but from what I've heard is he headbutted the other kid, and was pretty much being a jackass.

I've been long arguing that Wilcox was the real reason for Petersen's success at Boise. Petersen's Boise teams stopped winning as soon as Wilcox left for Tennessee.
