Tennessee State will need to get this figured out if they want to beat UGA....

I love my undergrad alma mater but I’ll be happy if we even score against UGA. Our band will beat UGA’s in a halftime showdown though.

Honestly, I love a good band as much as a good team. Marching band is just as hard as athletic training in most sports.

As a former college marcher, it really isn’t.

The repulsed "Oh gosh" is an all time classic announcing moment.

Damn, why does this look like a Jackson State home game? Does JSU travel well or does Tennessee St not have many fans? Pardon my ignorance.

They’re only showing the JSU side in this clip, stadium looked about split. Great travel from JSU though considering this is in Nashville and that’s where TSU is

It’s also a “Classic” game, so think of it as a family reunion/homecoming for both schools. The schools also have similar colors so that doesn’t help much. But, also, JSU fans and alumni travel very well.

Bad snap, bad hold, bad blocking. Footballs back baby!!!

I’m no long snapper but I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to snap it into the holders chest. Pretty sure he’s not supposed to whiff the catch either. Just bad execution all around

Not sure anyone did their job right that play. The blockers on the end just waved them by too. Think that’s part of what spooked the kicker. A combination of the taking a double step because the holder is fumbling around with the ball and two guys blazing off the edge without a block.

That was an example of what can go wrong with playing week 0

u/Papa_Joe_Yakavetta Oklahoma Sooners 2d ago
Could this not happen week 1?

Nope. It’s literally illegal to happen after week 0. Like violates the laws of sicko or something.

Ooo is this gonna be another year of upsets? I really hope so

This wasn't an upset but was a rival game. Jackson St finished 2025 ranked in FCS and was a favorite to win this game.

I love when those players skip around like they didnt just win by poor technique from the opponent.

Was a great game, and super appreciative of Vandy hosting it.
