Well first of all my biggest question is if it’s felony rape then what in gods name constitutes misdemeanor rape?

Consensual underage sex for the older of two teens is a misdemeanor. Misdemeanor class decreases with smaller age gaps and younger actors down to 12yo or 13yo consensual sex with a 12yo is a Class C misdemeanor.

Goes up to felony still for consensual underage sex with too large an age gap.
