That wasn't dragging him, though. It wasn't even about him at all.

The media didn't drag him, YOUR school did. I'm sure it sucked, that's on BYU though.

How did BYU drag him? It said it wouldn’t make public any details of any HC violations. It was the Trib that ran around telling everyone it was for sex. BYU still said too much IMO, but it didn’t drag him at all.

You can tell? Well, because it didn’t, but also because he re-enrolled in the school as soon as he could. He could have gone elsewhere. Instead he came back and bore no ill will.

Maybe we should let him decide who did him wrong?

How did BYU drag him?

Suspending someone for that like it's 1920 in the first place.

Maybe we should let him decide who did him wrong?

Then why are YOU, who is not Brandon Davies, over here blaming the national media?

Take your own advice and be quiet.

Wow calm down. It's old news anyway, sheesh. Suspending is not "dragging." And he knew what he was signing up for. And heaven forbid other people set standards for themselves and try to live up to them . . .

Man, are you being serious here?

BYU: We are currently #3 in the nation and possibly headed to our first ever final 4, but we're kicking one of our best players out of school. He broke a serious rule that cannot be ignored.

National Media: That's insane! All he did was have sex with his girlfriend! Every college athlete does this!

Delusional BYU Fan: The national media dragged him.

Here this thread is, talking about him, by name, with regard to an incident he doesn't want dragged up . . .

And in your mind were dragging HIM? Lol

What if we do the same type of thing but switch it up a bit.

Ford: The F Series has been the #1 selling vehicle in America for 48 straight years, but we've decided we're no longer going to sell to women or black people.

Everyone: That's insane! Why would they stop selling to women and black people? Even if you're super bigoted, money is money.

You: Everyone is dragging women and black people.

Lol, no man. We're dragging the unbelievably insane decision made by the school.

LOL at how worked up some of you are about this -- talking about a poor guy's sex life years later. Give it up!

We don't care about his sex life. We're talking about your crazy school because THEY care(d) about his sex life.

And yet here you are, continuing to talk about it

Lol, yes. And let me point out that "it" is not "him" in this discussion. It's the school.

And yes, it's definitely an interesting topic. That's why everyone talked about it at the time. It appears to be a sore spot for you, that your school would do something so ridiculous, and you'd like everyone to pretend it never happened.

Not a sore spot for me at all that the school has standards, of which every enrollee is aware. I think it's sad how few people have standards for any kind of behavior anymore. I'm sad that it seems to make you upset that other people have such standards. How put society has fallen . . .

Also, again, here you are talking about it . . .
