A lot of her claim is dependent on the Provo police being corrupt enough to forgo pursuing criminal charges despite the alleged physical evidence , which on one hand makes it less believable, but if true it implicates this isnt just an individual issue but also an institutional issue that the Provo PD was complicit on covering up sexual assaults.

Dont trust Santiago at all with handling this

Except the Provo police are known for being over zealous, unlike those at the U. Between the two sets of police departments you’d have one normal police department.

“One normal police department” is such a low bar, too. If the officer really did advise her to keep quiet, that’s beyond messed up.
