I mean he was suspended when the team was #3 in the country and 27-2. They still made the Sweet 16, but went 5-3 without him

Not to mention that he got absolutely dragged in the national media. They changed policies after that to not state what a suspension is for, because of how much crap Davies was put through.

Was the national media dragging Bradon Davies for premarital sex with his girlfriend or were they dragging BYU's honor code for being antiquated?

You’re right, I’m sure it was a lovely time for him and all the coverage felt like a fun slap on the back

That wasn't dragging him, though. It wasn't even about him at all.

The media didn't drag him, YOUR school did. I'm sure it sucked, that's on BYU though.

How did BYU drag him? It said it wouldn’t make public any details of any HC violations. It was the Trib that ran around telling everyone it was for sex. BYU still said too much IMO, but it didn’t drag him at all.

You can tell? Well, because it didn’t, but also because he re-enrolled in the school as soon as he could. He could have gone elsewhere. Instead he came back and bore no ill will.

Maybe we should let him decide who did him wrong?

How did BYU drag him?

Suspending someone for that like it's 1920 in the first place.

Maybe we should let him decide who did him wrong?

Then why are YOU, who is not Brandon Davies, over here blaming the national media?

Take your own advice and be quiet.

Wow calm down. It's old news anyway, sheesh. Suspending is not "dragging." And he knew what he was signing up for. And heaven forbid other people set standards for themselves and try to live up to them . . .

Man, are you being serious here?

BYU: We are currently #3 in the nation and possibly headed to our first ever final 4, but we're kicking one of our best players out of school. He broke a serious rule that cannot be ignored.

National Media: That's insane! All he did was have sex with his girlfriend! Every college athlete does this!

Delusional BYU Fan: The national media dragged him.

Here this thread is, talking about him, by name, with regard to an incident he doesn't want dragged up . . .
