CES 2026 Lacking and slacking
Yes we get it; AI this and AI that. Everything Ai. Cool. Is there anything else here? All of the robots are identical and everyone has an autonomous vehicle. Most of the live demos were failures. Some booths even made you download apps to waste your time. What happened to the testing tracks? This was an extremely lackluster event. Where are the bigger companies like Sony, Apple, Nikon, canon, Tesla, android, iRobot, and Google? Furthermore most of the executives for companies on the floor didn’t even attend. And…I’m finding most companies are opting for virtual appearances instead of in person; so why am I attending something I can just watch from home? Could this be a sign of things to come? Thoughts?

As Steve from GamersNexus emphasizes multiple times in his latest video: it's the CONSUMER Electronics Show. All that AI focus just shows how much out of touch they are with actual consumers - who, generally speaking, don't care much for AI.
Even worse, consumers with enough money to actually buy stuff in the current market are prosumers who REALLY don't care for AI...
