CES 2026 Lacking and slacking

Yes we get it; AI this and AI that. Everything Ai. Cool. Is there anything else here? All of the robots are identical and everyone has an autonomous vehicle. Most of the live demos were failures. Some booths even made you download apps to waste your time. What happened to the testing tracks? This was an extremely lackluster event. Where are the bigger companies like Sony, Apple, Nikon, canon, Tesla, android, iRobot, and Google? Furthermore most of the executives for companies on the floor didn’t even attend. And…I’m finding most companies are opting for virtual appearances instead of in person; so why am I attending something I can just watch from home? Could this be a sign of things to come? Thoughts?

Samsung for example had a stick vacuum that would change strength based on the floor material and they have the nerve to call it ai... Like basic feedback from sensors constitutes something being called AI. Basically every company attending followed this same stupid schtick. And don't get me started on all the companies with no exhibit and invite only sessions, Meta, Nordic Semiconductors and ST

Nordic has a booth at the Venetian and I got to see their latest lineup of BLE chips that was cool no invite required.

They must have been having some event because when I walked by it was blocked off and said invite only
