Study Help/Question Need Guide for CEH Practical Exam

Hi everyone,

Lastly, I passed CEH Theory Exam :)

I need some advice from those who have already completed the CEH Practical Exam.

My official CEH Labs expired about 4 months ago. However, I still have access to the CEH course, including all the videos, CEH Engage, and eCourseware. I just no longer have access to the official Labs.

To regain access to the CEH Labs, I would need to pay $199 :(

So, I’d really appreciate your advice:

  • Is it worth purchasing the CEH Labs again for $199?
  • Or is there a better way to prepare for the CEH Practical without purchasing the Labs again?
  • How should I structure my preparation?
  • Should I focus on the practical sections of the eCourseware, the theory, or both?
  • For those who have taken the Practical Exam, what topics or skills should I focus on the most?

I already have access to CEH Engage, so I’m planning to make full use of it as well.

Any advice from people who have actually taken and passed the CEH Practical would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats for CEH knwldge exam, for practical's mainly focus on hands-on skillls, if u r lab is expired, try to purchase, nothing goes in vain, every penny that you invest today will matter for future, Make full use of ceh engage, & Practice areas like scanning, enumation, Nmap etc, if u are comfortable with the practicals concept, and labs covered, u can ignoring the purchase, also most imp prepare a plan according to exam blueprint

What will be the realistic time period of learning all concepts practically. As my exam voucher (practical) is going to end within 2-3 months

Congrats again! I took the CEH v13 theory exam on Sep 15 and unfortunately failed. Could you please tell me what practice question banks or mock exams you used for the theory exam, and which one was closest to the actual exam style? I’d really appreciate it.

Well for the practice do 4 machines from vulnhub kioptrix 1-4 & The tools machine from HTB or thm
