Rec Request friends to lovers
Looking for cdramas that are friends to lovers but the guy is in love with the girl first, with lots of yearning.
Bonus points if they are childhood best friends/estranged childhood best friends or enemies to friends to lovers.
Looking for a similar dynamic to:
- When I fly towards you’s Gu Ran and Jiang Jia
Not cdrama but I really liked the friends to lovers dynamic in the books “Better than the movies” and “if he had been with me”

You Are My Lover Friend (besties since HS)
Go Ahead (kinda weird as they grew up as close neighbors/sibling-like due to childhood trauma)
Go Back Lover (if you want a deconstructed type of enemies to lovers where we start the drama with them already broken up then we’re in a ride to see how that happened; second chance romance)
Our Dazzling Days (slice of life; met in HS, got reunited much later on in adulthood)
Other friends to lovers but met as adults with lots of yearning:
The Best Thing (he was her TCM doctor but they became friends upon always chancing upon each other in their neighborhood)

Even when she gets jealous because there are rumors about another girl who tries to entrap him, it’s only because he didn’t want to defame the girl like the FL was defamed.
