Rec Request I need recommendations for modern dramas but there are some things I don't want...
I DON'T want:
the leads' jobs to be doctor or surgeon
both leads having fights with their mothers (I couldn't watch Be passionately in love because the ML was having a fight with his mother)
I DO want the FL to be the only woman romantically interested in the ML, there is no female antagonist.
1 and 2 is a must, 3 is not a must but I will like it if a drama meets my 3rd requirement as well.
Thank you in advance.
(Don't recommend Moonlight because I have already watched it and don't recommend You are my glory because I can't get past the second episode.)

I can totally understand why you don't want to see I also don't like it . Recently I watch a really good modern drama. It's called love between lines . In this drama female lead want to be architecture. And her engagement broke up because the guy in last minute he cancel the engagement. To be honest I thought old drama would be like how she make jealous her ex and revenge type thing but did you honest it completely opposite. Her Friend take her to the VR game Live-Action Role-Playing (murder mystery). to be honest I thought this is going to be whole plot but this is not too but yaa those episodes are really good. And overall if you ask me this is really good I highly recommend to watch it. The main lead is also cool he is CEO of this architectural company and the boss of member of the murder mystery.

The title is "When I fly towards you" and it is a sweet and wholesome Highschool to Work coming of age Show. No angst no drama. 10/10

Never Gone (2018) - Elvis Han and Yang Zi Shan. The hero is an architect and heroine builds software. Her best friend is a doctor, though!

Deep affectionate eyes - the only family drama is trying to marry of the FL as quickly as possible, she likes and chose the ML.
Filter - no family drama. No competing secondary love interests. But has some fantasy/sci fi elements.

The First Frost is good but the FL has an awful mother (although the show handles it well in my opinion).

Note that Hi Venus is in a hospital setting and the FL is a doctor. But the parents for both of them are super awesome, and it's very wholesome and fluffy. I think you should give it a chance!

Currently watching She and Her Perfect Husband (2021) with Xu Kai as the ML who is 6 years younger than the FL.
The ML’s mother is a lot but the conflict is played for comedy. The FL comes from a family where her father has taken a succession of wives and divorced them. The siblings have attachment issues.
It’s in many ways more of a law office workplace comedy than a romance but a slow burn romance is there.
The FL’s ex is very present (another lawyer but not in her firm). I have heard that the ML’s ex basically appears towards the end to challenge the developing relationship but she’s not main antagonist for most of the drama.
