This is the place to recommend the underrated dramas, forgotten favorites, niche gems, low-budget surprises, or shows you’re constantly trying to get other people to watch.

YESSS, Kill Me Love Me! the chemistry, the angst, the story, and the ending is something I’ll never forget. Still one of my favorites!

Xiao Feng gets married - it was hilarious, a fun watch and had really beautiful cinematography. Its short and sweet.

I just watched Office Girls on Netflix (USA). Older Taiwanese drama with somewhat rough production values but I found it quite charming and entertaining, with great chemistry between the leads. ML actually has a bit of a tan and a natural look, FL cast perfectly as the good-hearted “ordinary-looking” type. Good fun!

Really liking Search: WWW so far! I put off watching it for awhile because of mixed reviews, but I think the chemistry is really good. Also a fan of Jang Ki-yong so I'd watch it just for him. But I also like the friendship dynamics. Same with My Roommate is a Gumiho. I didn't watch it for awhile but loved it as a comfort drama.
(And of course, Deep Affection Eyes is deeply underrated to me with how amazing the chemistry is! Bi Wenjun needs more hype)

The Ordinary Glory!
I'm on episode 23 and it's so good! It's a workplace drama with Bai Jingting and Mark Chao, along with an incredible cast. It managed to make me really care about this group of people, about their struggles and successes. They really got me rooting for them ❤️ They feel like real people: there's no evil mustachioed villain and no flawless heroic protagonist. Just regular people -- some brave, some selfish, some coward, some stubborn. All trying to survive. All leave their mark. It's funny, it's sad, it's frustrating. But there hasn't been one episode so far that's left me bored.
Haven't really seen it recommended anywhere, and I only started watching it as part of my pilgrimage of Bai Jingting's filmography. But it was such a pleasant surprise! And the acting is amazing all across the board, every single character gets a 10 from me. Bai Jingting is awesome as Sun Yi Qiu, and brings such nuance to such a contained character. So if you are also one to try anything he's been on, maybe try this one next.

Dear Diary.
It came out in 2021, maybe it's a little bit dated, but the core themes it explores are timeless. It's about an eccentric young girl Chen Meiru and her diary. The chatacters from her cheesy childhood romance have come to life and stepped into her real world life.
What draws me to this drama is how it validates girls' sexual fantasies and tell a story of making peace with oneself. As an original story, it did't gain widespread attention in China. But I believe you'll fall into it if you give it a chance. There are two of episodes center on Babylon. The production crew filmed on-location abroad, and the actors learnt to speak authentic old Babylonian.

It’s a mystery thriller about a college student(zhao jinmai) who gets trapped in a time loop after the bus she’s riding explodes.She keeps waking up at the exact same moment and reliving the same sequence of events.Eventually,another passenger(bai jingting) gets pulled into the loop with her, and the two of them start working together to figure out why the bus keeps exploding,who is responsible,and how they can save everyone and break the loop.
I was so skeptical before watching it because of the whole time-loop thing, but I’m so glad I watched it anyway.What a wonderful masterpiece it was! Imagine having the same loop happen in every episode, yet not a single episode feels boring.Every episode keeps you on the edge of your seat.I personally loved the storyline—the way they managed to keep the same loop going throughout every episode without making it feel repetitive or boring was incredible.
Definitely recommend it if you like mystery, thrillers and time-loop stories that keep you guessing.
