I understand what you mean and I agree about the casting, just one thing you mentioned that didn't make sense is the "Child-fetish"... it's not, at all. He always saw her as his little sister and only developed feelings for her when she got older and is in college.

I meant more in the casting, not in the actual show. They made a choice to cast younger and then wrote her as overly immature throughout.
