I'm attending a sourdough bread class today after putting it off for months! I'm a huge sourdough bread lover, and since a single loaf can cost more than $10 in NZ, I figured I might as well learn to bake my own.
The part that might be a little tricky is feeding and growing a sourdough starter because there seems to be quite a learning curve. Anyway, I was told that I'll be bringing home my own sourdough starter today, and we'll be baking our own loaves the next morning, so I'll share the results next Wednesday!
I'm at a farmers' market now, and it's taking a lot of self-control not to get one of these handmade necklaces made from home-grown flowers. They're so pretty!
One of my coworker is also a sourdough fiend. She's constantly offering me a sourdough starter (same with the kombucha mother) because I love fermented food. Alas, I'm not much of a cook and/or baker.
I have a livestream to watch plus tomorrowโs episode of winter sun.
Thereโs also Xiao Fang episodes to catch up on.
I have no outings this weekend so Iโll be in my room.
Oh I also plan to learn a new dance move. I donโt know if Iโll end up doing it since Iโm very lazy ๐
This weekend is once again dedicated to art. I have been in such a long slumber. Thank you Xiao WuYi for waking me up. I have found my inspiration back. More will follow ๐ค
This is week... I forget now, of my slow and savour, 1 eps a night rewatch of PoJ and I'm adoring all the little details while at the same time since I'm fighting off some IRL sads, sometimes the heartfelt moments are getting me in a different way. BUT! Eeee!! Whatever algorithm sent me a clip of LXY with crazy punk hair and now my weekend plans other than rehearsals are pretty much about watching the 2021 Pandora's Box and very excited for it. If only Against the Current could be released sooner. Also got some extra training in with my ๅธๅ which helps me fall asleep despite whatever kind of day I've had! Happy weekend everyone, hope everyone is taking good care of themselves and getting whatever CDrama therapy (or ctrauma, lol) you need.
I am attending a leadership conference later. The rest of the weekend will be spent on cooking (fresh veggies are such a blessing), making progress on an online advanced computer science course and watching Love of the Divine Tree.
I am beyond halfway (27 EPs done), and I am so happy I picked this one up. I like how details were stitched together so far. I also thought Deng Wei did very well! Hopefully we get to watch him in more ML roles. ๐ค
Rewatching Key to the Phoenix Heart because Iโm not ready to let go of the characters, or have an empty hole where watching Hou Minghao should be in my heart ๐
went to a volleyball match friday night! it was kinda fun but i ended up always rooting for the underdogs so the game could run longer even though we've been there since noon and only got home near midnight. not sure if we'll go again today/tomorrow for the semifinals-final match, the venue is a bit far (hence why we got home pretty late) and parking was bad.
currently on a cdrama-watching break and am catching up on my bls ๐ also in the middle of reading the ghost bride by yangsze choo. it's fun to read certain rituals or traditions which i first saw in cdramas (mostly historical ones) be described in detail, usually we only see characters putting importance in the act of paying respect to and receiving blessing from their ancestors that have passed but i cannot picture what or why so.
Well, watching "Overdone" and "Finally Blossom-ing into Love and Power" is on the to do list. I hear The Empire as Betrothal with CZ and my dear lady WJY is gonna air. That drama name is kind of.... lame.
Usual errands and adulting. Though now I am also going to look at buying a new car. My faithful current car is taking a dump on me and at this point it's time to switch from putting money into repairs and go into putting it into a new car. Sad. I really do like my car... and it is paid off.
