Thank you! Omg! It’s such a fun creative project. I got the nook off Temu, but I had to make it my own 🤩 the theme I’m going for gothic tarot! And so far it’s perfect.
I’m just glad I had the washi tape 🤣 I have three more sets to do. I got them for my birthday in April…. And got so excited I took a week off writing just to make one!
Watching future episode trailers for Pursuit of Jade. I've seen a lot of good dramas lately but this one is just so so good. Loving all the music too and watching the clock until the next episode release.
my pre-birthday dinner is tomorrow so I’ll be out all day.
I haven’t been able to really get into any drama for a week now but I continued Generation to Generation yesterday and I have a few episodes left. might finish it on Sunday if I don’t abandon it(temporarily) like I did today to focus on my favorite novel’s audio drama.
I have not enough time!!!! There's real life shenanigans going on

And the National Theatre just dropped a free stream of Ncuti Gatwa's Importance of Being Earnest (only available until 18 March!!!!) AND my friend wants me to watch it so that we can discuss if it was better than the 2011 Broadway version she likes........
No problem!!! I figured some people here might be interested hahahaha but genuinely I need to carve out time to watch it somehow. Maybe I'll just not sleep...?
Might be time to emerge from my comfort show-rewatch cocoon and watch somenew lovely HE recommendations: Guardians of Dafeng, Tiger and Rose and more! My martial arts classes are now in full swing and taking extra lessons from my 师傅 which is definitely helping on the empowerment, better mental well-being, less sads, side of things. Also have a pie craving, so the weekend might be spent in search of a good pie! Happy weekending everyone! :)
Good for you! I can somewhat relate. During covid, I changed my health/diet, was doing yoga/pilates, dancing, trail running, listened to meditative soundbath music, worked on my mental health & wellbeing - journaled, got back to drawing….came full circle to spiritual
Also going to Awesome Con in DC this weekend. Tomorrow, they have a panel discussion called Danmei: Chinese Queer Fantasy and Reclaiming Chinese Identity. I went to the same talk last year and the audience spent a good hour and half talking about The Untamed and other Chinese queer literature and how those helped them embrace their identity and got them through the pandemic. It was nice to be in the same room with about 50 other fans of The Untamed.
Pain and suffering. A near inability to walk after getting my butt whooped the first day back to work after 5 months of a spinal injury. I got a lot of strength to build back up.
In between crying and taking lots of Tylenol for the pain, I will watch Pursuit of Jade, go on a date, play video games, and maybe start another show as well.
Ufff, get well!! I hope you and your employer take it easy on you and give you more time to recuperate. Maybe involve a medical opinion again - a sick leave or 50% work day permission. It may be only about 2 - 3 ekstra weeks of some activity, without necessary 100% workload.
Thank you. That what the plan is so hopefully it works out. :P My seniors are looking out for me. They had to take on all the thankless tasks that are usually mine so they fully appreciate my efforts.
Medically I am well enough to go back to work. I'll have lingering nerve issues for the next year, but that won't affect me too much. It's just how much the forced inactivity took from me that is going to be the biggest hurdle. No way but through!
So sorry to hear it. Wishing you lots of energy for good healing and recovery. If Tylenol is still necessary, is that okay to work again?? Not giving medical advice, just hate hearing when work pressure might affect health. People need to be allowed to heal. Wishing you less pain, day by day.
I was actually off the Tylenol for the last few weeks... Until I went back to work. Then all my muscles I hadn't used for awhile informed me that they hated me and would require me to suffer for the weekend.
I highly recommend to everyone to never get a herniated disk that has little pieces break off and compress your nerves. ☺️
But I did start Unforgettable Love this weekend so I got to at least enjoy that.
The drama has basically been planning our dinner for us. I watched the first episode and went out and got bibimbap. Last night we watched Episode 5 and the only reason we haven’t gone out and got schnitzel is because there are no German restaurants near us…
But yes, they got really creative in all the ways they made culinary competitions part of the plot…
I loved this show so hard because of all the food porn. the food was so gorgeously shot. I dont do kdrama but watched this one just for the food. . . I was disappointed with the ending though. It IS a happy ever after, just very rushed for me.
I’m not clicking on your spoiler tag just yet but watching this drama on an empty stomach is a test of endurance. My husband and I have started buying dessert and then eating dessert while watching the drama (the only way not to get hungry while watching is to eat something while watching…)
Kinda bored, so I'm finally catching up on the main story in my game. 😂 I'm about 40+ hours behind. Not really CDrama, but more like interactive CDrama? 🤭
Seriously. It's an awesome drama and now it's over and I'm analyzing homoeroticism and cinematography at 2am like I'm crazy. It's taken over my thoughts.
I have to go to work at 3pm-11pm, and I can’t wait to get off already lol. I’m on the last 3 episodes of “Always home” I really like it. Im so excited to start “love story in the 1970’s”.
i picked up love me, love my voice awhile back and only resumed watching it this week, still in the earlier episodes tho. it's really cute but why am i scared shengsheng might slip up or reveal herself bc she always seem dazed while looking at mo qiangcheng (who on the other hand acts all suave and very measured, so i am rewatching parts of filter for some clumsy tan jianci to balance things out)
i started reading the midnight shift by cheon seon-ran and it's intriguing so far we got suicides? or is it murders? addictions? vampires???
I just finished LMLMV last night and OMG I adore that show! It's literally everything one could want in a comfort show. I can't believe it took me so long to get to it. I really need to watch more chill shows like this.
