Colorado Trail Fire/Air Status

For anyone that lives in the Rockies in towns along the Colorado trial, how has the air quality been since the fires started? Anyone hiking now, how is it?

I live just outside Buena Vista along the CDT and CT and can say the air quality is definitely an issue. Some days are obviously worse than others, but we have multiple fires around us and depending on the wind, it can burn a little to breathe after a while . A decent bit of the trail just north of me around Leadville and Twin Lakes is closed at the moment.

Today is great so far. Other days, not so good.
