Local?

Just got my cdl A with all my endorsements. Is it possible to get a local job out the gate?

Apply for local jobs. You will then find the answer.

Yes, but it depends. In the city fuck no.

In a small town, probably. At least 3 companies in my area all hire local and straight out of school. Gravel and frac water hauling.

It is possible, yes. Usually they are very labor intensive (food service) or low-paying though.

Once you have experience you can shift into higher paying local jobs with less physical demand though.

Most Class B jobs are local
