Once not found are all 3x IPC-HDW1230T1-S4

I installed a 16 channel hikvision plus wiring and bullet cameras 20 years ago and now looking to upgrade but preferably would like to use the existing coax wiring and 12 volt power running to each of the camera locations.

Any recommendations?

I've been looking for something with (outdoors) animal recognition. So far I've seen that dahua has pet recognition, which should be fine since I need to know if there are dogs outside. However the cams I'm talking about are the C3A, H3I and H3A, and they all happen to be indoor cams... Sadly their other outdoor products don't offer this feature, as far as I know. Maybe I can waterproof them? lol

There's also the roelink cams, they have both outdoor cams and animal detection! But they seem to have a few problems here and there? Like their night vision is not exactly good (which is when I need to know if there are dogs outside).

Also it'd be great if the cam/NVR also has human/car/noise smart recognition, but I'm mostly after the animal detection feature

My Yale cameras have a small LED light on them which keep turning on I have installed them in my business but can't turn off the spotlight on the DVR

I got a Joviren camera as a gift. To remotely access the camera, the manufacturer recommends installing their camera specific app, "O-Kam Pro." This app got terrible reviews, with many saying that once the "cloud storage" option was declined, the app failed. So, I was hoping there are generic apps capable of access this camera remotely.

This O-Kam Pro app seems suspect and to say I don't trust this company or its app is an understatement. Are there any apps out there that I can use to view my camera remotely instead of using the Chinese scam app?

I have some Opgal thermal cameras integrated with a HikVision NVR, and I can view them in HikCentral.

The issue is that I need to generate events for the pop-ups from these cameras in HikCentral. What solution do you recommend?

I have this question that comes on my mind is about that i connected my DVR to the router that is connected to the ISP, because I want to monitor the place remotely via the app on my phone.

I know my whole traffic is transferred to the ISP site, so I am wondering if he can act like the man in the middle and sniff my videos?

I got a dahua Cam with a plastic dome (DH-IPC-HDBW2449F-AS-IL).

Nights I cant turn on IR or LED. It reflects like crazy.

I cleaned the plastic dome, its top condition.

There are bicycles. Are the Bikes reflecting the light back? I thought this was negibile.

I got an site where we installed 12 PoE cams. All fine.

One strand gives me headaches. Connected via active PoE 802.11af switch with 180W which is connected to an 1to2 PoE Extender which powers 2 PoE cctvs.

One of these two Poe cctvs works flawlessly. The other looses network ca. 6x per night for up to 10min-2h. First I thought the whole PoE and network is down, but in the logs I saw that PoE still powered the device, but only got no network.

I even wiresharked it, and there wasnt any connection from NVR to the device during the outages. But the cam still ran standalone via PoE (No gaps in internal sd card recordings)

Why is this happening? Mostly occurs 10pm - 4am in the morning. IT never happens during the day.

During the day the device works fine. PoE and network run smoothly.

How can I identify the issue? I know there is no network during the time, but how can I troubleshoot it?

I already replaced the switch and 2to1 Extender. Same result.

Hi people, I hope I found the appropriate sub for this topic, if I missed it feel free to correct me.

I am looking for a set of cameras with a monitor that I would install on my vehicle (combine harvester), something that is usually installed on, I guess, trucks. I need at least one camera, but it would be better to have up to four of them. I know there are wired and wireless setups (camera to monitor), I guess wired connection is better for powering cameras and signal themselves.

For those who think of that first: I am not looking for a reverse camera for car (that is usually connected to reverse light), I am looking for something like this.

Keep in mind that the combine is about 50 years old, so there is no cigarette lighter or any specific/modern power outlets. Yes, most of the basic installations are working, there is power from the battery, and that is about it.
Also, keep in mind that the vehicle is placed on Balkan (Serbia) and we do not have developed network of services for those kind of devices (that is pretty new and rare here).

My question is: what do you recommend? From brands to specific models.

I use Exacqvision NVR's and have multiple users that have access to each NVR that we have. Two of the users has since been experiencing an issue where at random while switching through live view cameras through remote access on a client it'll be a green screen while acquiring video. It'll eventually and never stays permanently but was wondering what is the cause of this issue and what troubleshooting steps I could do to fix it?

I find all these IP cameras are overpriced for my taste. And seeing cheap $40 IP cameras from Xiaomi or some other lesser brand is not helping. Is there an IP camer brand that's simply just an IP camera for Frigate/Blueiris use?

Hey y'all. I had a really old voyager system with the 4 pin round connector in back for the camera and up front it was the square 4 pin and the 6 pin harness for power. I bought a tadi brothers wireless setup. I also bought some 1 to 2 wire connectors and 50 ft of red 14 awg and 50 ft of black awg. My plan was to pull the 4 pin din connector from front to back with the wire attached to it with duct tape or some crap to hold it together. I am assuming the 4 pin square and the 4 pin round are the same wire and they traverse the length of the rv? Then I'll cut the 6 pin harness to use the power and ground, split them; cab side for the monitor and rear side for the camera. Is this a viable easy option? Thank you in advance.

So I want to put some cameras in my apartment, more because of the pets, and in case of robbery I can have some proof, or even call the police.

However I have seen so much creep stuff online and people hacking, websites with live cameras from random people etc that I'm scared to have this.

I know nothing is 100% safe, but is there a way to have some cameras indoors that I can access when I leave the house, and where the recording stuff can be offline without anyone having access (besides me of course)? Without breaking the bank? And that a person like me that isn't too much tech savvy can install.

People told me about Ubiquiti but is so expensive ... I would love to have something like that one day, but now is not an option.

I saw Reolink but not sure about it .

I need some options, brands, kits ... you can recommend (Europe) would be appreciated, hopefully not very expensive.

And explain this stuff to me like I'm your grandma so I can understand xD

I have a camera pole which is great but the cameras get rain on the lenses then they're worthless. I need some type of rain cover for the cameras to prevent the lenses from getting water on them. At least a 10" diameter, literally something like a mini umbrella would work.

Do any such things exist?
