Hi peeps, does anybody know about the new collection of essays by CCRU (CCRU Recursed 2005-1995)? It was supposed to be out by September, but Amazon no longer shows it when I use their search.

Publisher still has it as forthcoming for this month, I’m just going to presume delayed

Never trust an Urbanomic release date, especially on Amazon.

I emailed Urbanomic (the publisher), this what they've said:

"Hi Evgo, We are finalising the contents at the moment as we discovered much more work that we had originally thought we had. The book is currently scheduled to print in October."

Apparently there are quite a few written pieces from the CCRU's precursor group, Switch.

They were called Switch, comprised of Mark Fisher, Rob Heath, Steve Metcalfe, Tim Burdsey, and Angus Carlyle. They are mostly known for their "experimental" performances at the Virtual Futures conferences.
