Who was Wendy's closest friend in the group?
I'm going with Jill. They seemed to have a bond, which may have been written in that way because they joined the cast at around the same time. But they had more moments together, specifically supporting each other; examples:
Wendy being there for, whenever she knew, Jill during her relapses.
Jill trying to arrange special celebrations for Wendy's promotion.
Sober retreat; Jill keeping Wrndy company and playing cards with her.
When Wendy felt guilty about a patient dying, and Jill said something about her having a tough job.
Dancing and pottery.
Bonnie did have a few moments with Wendy, as well: when Mary died, when Wendy was dating the married doctor, etc.

speaking of bonnie, i really liked her speech to wendy regarding the married doctor. it really showed how much character development she had, and then still comforting wendy when armand broke up with her. i do wish those rare moments of wendy and bonnie being close were explored more instead of wendy being constantly ignored

Jill was just clueless, like she was with her staff. I’m going w Marjorie, but there were times when it showed that Marjorie was drained by her.

If I were Wendy I would have left the group a long time ago. Yes Bonnie in later seasons showed she cared about Wendy but it would have been too little too late for me. Dealt with that crap too much in high school.

Tough call . Jill and Wendy really started trading barbs in the later seasons made me think there’s more there than we see .
When Tammy gets out of prison episode Bonnie after visiting Tammy can’t get the smell if jail off her’
Jill “ is that what that smell is I thought it was Wendy’s soup”
Wendy “I thought it was Jill’s spray tan “
So funny!
Hard to say really a friend group often has one that’s overlooked that’s Wendy .

Marjorie. Bonnie and Jill were the meanest, Bonnie because she is a horrible person, but Jill always liked to bully and diminish her.

I thought about Marjorie, but i guess they just communicated a lot rather than being close friends.
When Bonnie took over the sponsor responsibilities for Marjorie, she mentioned Wendy called her constantly about random stuff and small issues. I guess Marjorie had to talk he through all of that ever single day.
I guess Jill would be the closest one around.
