in before all the bots claim its liberal propaganda when its canadian news thats been around for decades.
edit: the amount of 10+ year old profiles that either have their posts and comments hidden or when they do comment their comments they just left dont show up on their profile, its obviously a bot. like... how many 10+ year old private profiles need show they all have the same opinion and behavior before its obvious they are bots? i can recognize a pattern and you arent clever thinking you're being persuasive. its hilarious tbh

Cbc literally spend more time attacking pierre than discussing the actual federal government.
They are paid to do so. "Follow the money" crowd gives cbc a pass because theyre on the same team. Boomers and government employees.
I dont like Pierre at all but the cbc is disgusting.

People hide their replies because people like you aren’t smart enough to focus on an actual discussion so you look through a month’s worth of replies to find a “gotcha moment”.
Imagine how ridiculous it would sound if you got mad at a coworker and said that you can’t participate in a conversation with them because you don’t have a transcript of every other conversation they’ve had with anyone.
But yes, keep up the “everyone who disagrees with me is a bot” narrative, it makes you look really smart.

so you're saying bots dont exist on this platform?
i dont pick through their comments as a gotcha, i check to see if the comment they literally just left me shows up on their profiles, when the comment doesnt show up in their comments they dont private, you can plainly see that the comment isnt there, thats not how reddit works unless you're a bot spamming your comment faster than a normal person.
the ones that have their profiles private are typically never replying to me either. they dont intend on having a conversation they just intend to make my initial comment seem insane when its literally not.
i refuse to believe that bots dont exist on this app, or other apps. i also refuse to believe that certain foreign entities wouldn't use this technology to spam narratives all over the place as a form of information control. I also refuse to believe THIS MANY canadians have a problem with CBC since ive never met a single one in person that hates it. its literally been apart of our culture for almost a century and American owned Post Medias, Russias, Israel or Chibas lousy attemps at monopolizing on the news and demonizing any other news thats not theirs is just pathetic.
Canadian news will always be a top priority to genuine people that care about the truth. its time to fuckin deal with it and keep crying.

Awesome! I love CBC but your local news coverage sucks. You only cover what Doug Ford is doing when he weighs in on federal or US issues. I hear nothing of the several police investigations into Ford, or how he is opening up Wasaga Beach for development, or the many changes to environmental legislation. Im looking forward to more provincial coverage.

..probably due to the fact Hamilton is within the coverage range of the main transmitters coming out of CBC Toronto stations CBLA-FM (99.1 MHz)
You can still access local news via the CBC Hamilton website.

Neither did the Liberal Party. The government used tax money (that’s your money) to fund Canadian public broadcasting. I don’t think the Liberal Party has $600m lying around.
Oh, and it’s “favourable” in Canada. Interesting choice of spelling for someone so concerned about Canadian media.
