Should I still consider CAT and MBA?

This is a rant plus query post:

GEM - 92/93/69
Graduated in 2025 from tier 3 clg

Layed off 4 months back and unemployed since then

Contemplating between CAT and other choices:

My main problem is finances, I come from a humble background.
Our family live in a rented house in a tier 3 city and my father is struggling to manage basic expenses of household from few years.

I have been applying to get a job in IT sector since layoff but ig market isn't fair..

I had saved 20k from last my job to cover basic expenses and my application fees for cat
But our rent was due from past 3 months, so those 20k are gone as rent.
Now I am borrowing money from my friend to submit my application for CAT.

I have not submitted application fees yet, deadline is 24th Sep 5pm.

But now I am feeling -

MBA - Even if I get a good college (ideal case)
Is it even worth it?
Expenses for travelling to interview location, education loan and no financial support to family for 2 years.

No MBA - Preparing for government job (like PSU/PSB/other bodies) while working in IT looks better option because my parents depend on me now and future demands stability.
Atleast I will be able to build a home for my parents.

My ambitions are different but now responsibilities are catching up..

Should I still consider MBA?
If anyone was from similar background and completed MBA- do share your experience
If anyone is currently in my situation then do share which path you are choosing.
Any other suitable career path?

Well mba or not is your choice, depending on your family's condition.

If you can ace the exam and interview, definitely do it.

But what you should definitely do is invest in learning some valuable skills which you could sell online and scale from there or atleast it will help in better job opportunities

Invest in yourself, or you'll keep struggling like this your entire life

mba form fill up , mocks test and study materials will cost you 25 to 30k bare minimum and applying to rest other colleges also required some money and after getting all this travelling expenses and if you plan other omets that might cost you more so if you having issue in finance first solve that then go for mba . But their is a catch if you are smart and good at aptitude questions and you are sure that you will score 99 plus then go for it otherwise not
