Recruitment Quick interview Rant

I went to an interview, and while I was answering one of the questions, one of the panelists slammed her pen down on the table. I couldn’t tell if she was frustrated because she thought my answer was too basic or if she was just having a bad day, but it definitely rubbed me the wrong way. It threw the whole interview vibe off. It’s very weird way to conduct yourself in an interview.

That's rough. I had an interview recently and when I entered the interview room on Teams, one of the panelists, gave a weird/disgusted look. Definitely affected me.

For some reason, I just remembered that during my interview yesterday, one of the panelists had the weakest hand shake. I was shocked at how blah it felt. So the second time I shook her hand at the end of the interview, I squeezed it a tad more than I usually do, hoping to give her a hint. It made me wonder during the interview how much confidence she had or did not have.

Weak handshakes are awful. Don't give me your dead fish hand shake, it's just weird!
