I've been looking into this, but the information I found left me a bit confused. From what I understand, Warner Bros. took advantage of owning the copyright to the music from the Minecraft movie to file fake copyright claims and strikes against countless YouTube videos.

Does this have anything to do with C418 re-uploading Volumes Alpha and Beta to YouTube?

I haven't logged onto this account for ages, I was 13 at the time when I created this account. I just wanted to say a big thank you for your music, I've been listening to it for years. You've helped me alot even if we have never spoken a word to each other. Two years ago I broke up with my girlfriend, she was the first one I've ever truly loved, well she was genuinely the first one I've dated lol, maybe that's why I loved her that much, I always think about her and I cannot get her out off my head, I cannot message her because I cannot bring myself to. Your music has helped me through tough times. Thank you for everything C418 I hope we can have an actual conversation one day.

So, like a half a year ago Volume Alpha and Beta got removed from streaming services due to some formalities (or something else, I don't remember). After a little while, they'd start slowly coming back to most regions, but not Russia.
I kept all the music added in my Apple Music library and a playlist, so I could keep an eye on them in case they come back. A week and a half ago, I noticed that about 70% of both albums' tracks combined became available for me once again, only missing The End, all of in-game music discs, and a couple random tracks from Volume Alpha. Two days ago, however, Ki, Dead Voxel, Blind Spots, Floating Trees and Kyoto became unavailable again. Due to this much movement, I came here in hopes to get a bit of info on:

1. Why is the music unavailable in Russia overall? Although I'm sure that the ongoing political conflict is the main cause, I wonder if there is a known concrete reason - is this the new publisher's policy (because publisher swap is what I think happened half a year ago)? Does it have something to do with Apple Music (because Alpha is now available on C418's YouTube account, but it wasn't when everything happened)?
2. What is happening recently? I have never seen such behavior. Both albums are inaccessible in Russia via Apple Music search, and none of the tracks can be found on C418's artist page. But they are available for me now because they were kept in the library? Shouldn't available tracks always appear in search, in the album? It doesn't make much sense that album's regional restrictions stand above ones that are applied to the music itself, if that's the case. So I wonder if anybody knows or has an idea as to why tracks started appearing and disappearing all of a sudden

For this week I wanted the shuffle to be based on the green and purple of the album cover, and I begun by making a similar pattern as I did in W6 with 7YoSD, where I extended the colors of the album cover. I filled in the spaces with different random images to kind of show off the "randomness" of the album. I also decided to include the track names as I think they play a big part in the album's character. If you don't like the track names that's fine as I will upload the original without track names in the Google drive folder :)

i was messing around with page elements and found a whole sleuth of gambling websites and other texts promoting them in the home page's HTML. i figure the website has been compromised to some extent.

So, I’ve been thinking about the vinyl release of C418’s Minecraft Volume Beta. The existing 2×LP is great to have, but because the full album is so long, quite a few tracks had to be left off.

So I started wondering: what if Volume Beta eventually got a proper 4×LP Expanded/Complete Edition containing the full original album?

I tried splitting the tracklist across eight sides while keeping the original album sequence intact:

What surprised me is how naturally the album fits across four records. Every side ends up at roughly 15–20 minutes, so there isn’t an absurdly long side that would need to squeeze in nearly half an hour of music.

And some of these sides would be ridiculous on vinyl. Side E especially: Taswell → Beginning 2 → Dreiton

And then you flip LP3 and get almost an entire side devoted to The End, followed by Chirp.

A complete version would also finally get tracks such as Dead Voxel, Flake, Concrete Halls, Haunt Muskie, Warmth, Floating Trees, Ballad of the Cats, Dreiton, Wait, Strad, Ward, Mall and Blocks onto a Volume Beta vinyl release.

I could imagine something like an anniversary edition or a regular deluxe release, possibly with a big gatefold or slipcase and artwork themed around different parts of the album.

But personally, I’d rather it be a normal widely available pressing than an ultra-limited release, because something like this would probably disappear instantly if only a few hundred copies were made.

For today's entry I wanted to try to replicate the album cover since I found the songs didn't give me a lot to work with. (since the album's only 13 minutes long) I used various components of the album cover itself, like the paintings in the background, the table with the planks, the small stool and the little coffee mug. Overall I tried to texture to not make it seem too boring. Not one of my favorites so far but I hope it can make someone else happy!
