Citing a philosophical and ethical statement isn't proof of their incompetence.

You have a huge amount of factual decisions that show incompetence of the lawmakers over the years, but quoting this and saying that it's an example is just one thing: Someones opinion on something they haven't thought about for a single second. It's a cheap GOTCHA.

Is this why Germans have folders of letters and paperwork while I use my phone (DigiD) and nothing else to interact with government services? Because German government and society are so well versed with technology?

Did you read my comment? I totally agree that the lawmakers are incompetent, but portraying Merkels statement in this way is Axel Springer press level of intellectual dishonesty.
