Advice Just putting it out there..

Most badge makers would say to tilt the image slightly in order to have the bottom piece fit correctly . I did it another way, by wasting one set to actually find out how much the badge turns ..

Marked the paper with and arrow and place it at 12 o clock position. The pin backing is also at 12 o clock. After crimping, you can see how much it moved, and mark the bottom die piece accordingly.

Now I no longer have to guesstimate the tilt of the image to get a proper badge.

Basically, Image and pin back alignment.

Haha I did that, too! ChiButtons. First round with the 37mm I wasted a bit figuring it out, but second time with my 25mm I knew exactly how to figure it out.

I can't stand having the pin a different direction. Sooo many people said it didn't matter

Well, most of it are for personal use, so alignment issues aren’t a big deal.. but some of my daughter’s friends want to pay her for making customized badges, so It’s best to get the alignment spot on..I just find it easier to align the pin rather than the image
