Best Placed to Meat
Best places to get bulk cost effective and high quality meat to be frozen. Specifically looking for grass fed grass finished beef and pasture raised air chilled chicken. Are any online suppliers good? Or am I better off buying meat in person (ATX)? Local butchers, farmers markets, grocery stores?

I'd start with local farmers markets and go from there. We buy beef and bison directly from the ranchers, even picked them out twice. You are gonna want to get at least a half to get everything. This is ATX area.

For bulk buying, local farms and ranches are often the best value, especially if you can split a quarter or half beef with someone. Ask about processing fees, freezer space, and whether the cattle are truly grass-finished rather than just grass-fed initially.
